I don't find myself in competitive situations very often. When I do, I usually approach it with as much modesty as possible. I like fun competition, such as games, like what you mentioned Candice. I used to play several different words with friends type games on my phone with lots of different people. It's weird because I actually like the 'competition' of those games more when I'm playing against myself or against the computer, because I know that there's a very low chance of winning (especially when it's against the computer), but it's a fun challenge to see how close I can get.

I think the reason I am so indifferent when it comes to being competitive is that I don't want to hurt people's feelings. I'm not the type of person who would just let someone win, unless it's a little kid or something, and I don't really like to deal with other people being sore losers or sore winners. It makes competing less fun for everyone. Maybe with time I will figure out how I like to compete, and how to not let people with poor attitudes get me down! Especially when it's a game...It's just a game!

If it's competition for a job, or a sizable prize, then things change a little. I'm not willing to go to any extremes to get anything. I'm not willing to compromise my morals, or myself in any other way. Especially when it comes to 'competing' for jobs, the best man/woman DOESNT always win. I've learned this the hard way, and I think that it's a good thing that I have! It keeps me from being a sore loser in those situations.
