Aloha,

You know you’re getting old when....

A night out requires two full days to recover.

Aloha,

I’m also team iPhone!! Maybe it’s because it was the first smart phone I had and am bad with technology. Trying to figure out how to use another device would take me far longer than it should.

Aloha,

I’d really appreciate some new shorts for work. I have to wear button downs and they add up after a while. Wishing you the best for your holidays!

Forum: Have you ever fallen asleep while working?
Aloha Katelyn,

I have never fallen asleep while at work. As a barista that would be really hard to do! However, I have fallen asleep so many times while studying or doing homework/assignments. In fact falling asleep while doing school work is pretty regular for me. Especially if I am in a comfortable position and it is past 10:30 at night. Lights out!

I usually wake up after a few minutes and either finish homework or put the work off until the next day.

Thanks for the forum!

Forum: Longest flight?
Aloha CNET,

What is the longest flight you have ever been on? The flight between NY and Hawaii is the longest I've ever been on. On my way here in August I had a layover in LA so my total travel time was 17 hours.

How about you?

Aloha Kyle,

We keep our ketchup in the refrigerator. I feel like most things have to be kept cold once they are open to slow the growth of mold and bacteria. Like you pointed out, ketchup in the home doesn't move nearly as fast as a restaurant. Keeping it out is probably fine but will shorten the life of ketchup by some degree.

Aloha Becky,

I'm not sure how old I was, it was definitely early elementary school, but I was hanging with my older brother during the summer months. We rode our bikes to his friends house and started talking about Christmas somehow...long story short I told him how we saw Santa on our roof last year at Christmas. He said "that's impossible, Santa isn't real". I didn't believe him, at the time I thought he was just saying that because he was jealous we saw him and he didn't. Well, my brother was not having it! He rushed us home and called my mom into one of the bedrooms to talk with her. I continued about my day like nothing happened. She played it off like he was just being silly. The next Christmas, my mom told me and was crying as she did. She said she was sorry someone ruined the surprise so early for me. I think she was more hurt than I was!

Thanks for the forum.

Aloha,

I am also right-handed! Although I snowboard "goofy" style which is usually the stance of left-handed people. No idea why, just happened.

Forum: Book or Kindle?
Aloha,

I’m all about the real thing!! I just prefer the actual page turning. I feel like I also lose my spot more often when reading on an electronic device. The only plus side to a kindle is when you’re reading at the beach. No sun glaring on the page making it hard to see and no wind blowing the pages.

Thanks for the forum!
