Hello!

I never act openly rude to anyone, but I strongly dislike people who always complain. I've discussed a lot of my views and experiences in previous posts, but in general I let them complain and then after the day ends I try to avoid them all the time I see them.

No one wants to be around someone who always looks at their situations negatively. Obviously, people can be mad about unfortunate occurrences in their life, but always bringing other people down with them and not being able to move on strikes me as very childish and unnecessary.

Have a great day!

Hello!

I would say to think of the end goal in your career path, but numerous people already touched on the point.

I think over most other things, enjoying what you study and really being interested and involved in your classes help to make the education a better experience. If you don't particularly like your major or don't want to even be in school whatsoever, obviously changes need to be made. But when you find what you truly want to do, you'll be extremely motivated to do well.

Have a great day!

Hello!

Recently I finished reading the Collected Poems of William Carlos Williams! He wrote in the early 1900s and I really love his style. If you wouldn't consider a collection of poems a book, I read Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald previous to William Carlos Williams. I definitely recommend Fitzgerald, although I think The Great Gatsby or This Side of Paradise beats Tender is the Night as far as enjoyment goes for me.

I plan on reading the Portrait of the Artists as a Young man next, which I know absolutely nothing about! I hope I enjoy the story!

Thanks for the post!

Do people control your decisions? How much or how often?

I've noticed more and more when I take notice to my life, how often I'll let people control my decisions. Not in a bad way, but how much I can be swayed. I don't think being influenced by other people to make decisions should be looked at all in the negative, but I am becoming more and more conscious of everyone's impact in my day to day life.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello Karly!

I do consider myself to eat very healthy!

I do not eat anything with food coloring or dye, which actually encapsulates more than you would think. I always get stomach aches when I eat things with dye, and my face tends to break out too – I don't consider eating worse to be worth all of the complications.

I don't watch my calories simply because I do not need to. Currently in my life, I am at an age where I would be able to eat terribly and my weight would not be affected. Of course, I watch what I eat, but I do not sweat eating poorly for a day.

Have a great day!

Hello!

I always use apple products simply because of precedent. My first phone was an iPhone and I don't really see a reason to switch (all of my apps, music, etcetera).

I think I like Apple products better anyways. Yes, Android phones come with more features, but I certainly don't feel like I am missing out on anything with an apple product. For me, as long as core functions of a phone work, I'm happy.

Maybe I'll switch sooner or later, just for fun, but I don't really see an immediate reason to right now, so I'll stick to Apple!

Hello!

Out of everything, I want an extremely successful career.

I realized how in control I am of my career, and I feel as though I can control my professional life more than anything. To me, people will always come and go, and I don't really fantasize about owning nice things. I think I would be most proud of myself for an outstanding career.

Hello !

I don't really mind very cold or very warm temperatures, even if being outside may be more uncomfortable than in a moderate temperature.

I am fortunate to live in an air conditioned house, so whenever I spend significant periods of time in extremely hot temperature, I can always count on coming home and being able to sit in air conditioning to cool off.

Staying hydrated over the summer usually helps tremendously for me too. If I am dehydrated I feel so much hotter and I usually have a bad time outside.

Hello!

I almost feel ashamed listening to music with really stupid lyrics – but like you mentioned, the beat always keeps me with the songs.

I don't think my taste in music suffers because of my faint interest in certain trap hip hop music, nor do I think all of the music with bad lyrics should necessarily be frowned upon. There's a place for music with meaning, and there's a place for music which sounds fun and we can bop to, even if the message may not be there.

In addition, I get what you mean about rappers talking about drugs and money. Yes, they all romanticize the topics and make them seem admirable to some viewers. But, people also rap about their addictions, struggles, and pains with drugs, alcohol, sex, etcetera where a real message can be taken from their lyrics and they speak of a real life application of the topic.

Do you ever make a wrong decision knowing you are making the bad choice?

I feel like I will make the wrong decision every once in a while simply out of my priorities. I prioritize some parts of my life which shouldn't be over others, and I think sometimes I make sacrifices I don't need to.

How about everyone else?

Have a great day!
