Hello,

I would definitely grow a willow tree, they're beautiful and set a scene. It would be amazing just to sit under when whenever and enjoy the shade or to climb its braches and enjoy the view. My neighbors had one once and I loved that tree, I wish I could have one of my own. Plus, I could call it the Whomping Willow, it may not look like the real Whomping Willow, but eh, they both have willow in the name! =D

Hey Abby,

Sadly, I will most likely not be getting a White Christmas, living in Texas. I love the snow and I miss getting it, but at least I don't have to go out shoveling snow off the roof like my dad had to when we lived in Minnesota. =D But yeah, no snow for us. If we do, it'll probably melt by the time the sun comes out.

Forum: Eve or Day?
Hello Anna,

My family spends all of Christmas on Christmas day. Especially since we are hosting most of my family this year and we set up and prepare last minute preparations on Christmas Eve so that we can spend all Christmas day with family that comes over. Most of our family is coming from an hour away so its nice to see them as we don't see them often. We love to wake up first thing in the morning and enjoy the whole day having fun with family.

Forum: Eating and Weight gain during the holidays?
Hey Le Penguin,

I have never been one to watch my weight, afraid I'd become someone who becomes overly excessive in how much they eat and not eating the things I love to eat, like greasy pizza or pink steak. I wouldn't be surprised if I gained weight over the holidays, I love eating as much as I want to the point of almost getting sick... but Christmas dinner is my time to overeat, no way am I going to hold back! =D

Merry Christmas Eve!

Are you participating in any Christmas Eve traditions today?

Sadly, I'm not. My family is just getting ready for family coming over tomorrow.

Forum: What is the deal with carpet?
Hi Tera,

I definitely prefer hardwood, especially since I have dogs. Wood is much easier to clean, especially with a puppy that is not potty trained yet. Carpets tend to hold a lot of nasty in it that isn't as easy to clean, staining and just plain gross if you've ever pulled one up before (to replace it with wood or tile). Wood floors will also stay cooler in the summer, which the dogs love.

Forum: What distracts you?
Hey Court,

I get distracted pretty easily. Usually by falling down the rabbit hole known as YouTube... I also like to read and I end up using that to distract me (on purpose when I'd rather not do my homework). I'm extremely bad at ignoring distractions... I usually want to be distracted from whatever I'm doing so that I can procrastinate, but I try not to. I try to keep from being distracted, usually doing everything in one go so that it's done and over with. So it's determination to finish what needs to be done that helps me conquers distractions.

Subject: Re: Last minute Christmas shopping

Forum: Last minute Christmas shopping
Hi,

Haha, no, I'd prefer not to brave the crowd of last minute shoppers. I do all my Christmas shopping long before Christmas day. I also do my normal shopping a bit before Christmas so that I don't have to go shopping for my everyday stuff along with everyone else's last minute shopping... I had to go shopping on Black Friday for everyday items and got stuck in that crowd, I'd rather not do it again in the last minute shoppers crowd.

Subject: Re: Personal Space

Forum: Personal Space
Hey Karly,

I can deal with crowds for a little while, but I don't care for them. I like my personal space and I don't like people invading it. When people start getting too close to me, I start to get pushy. Usually, when I'm in a crowd, I just go with the flow, but as soon as people get too close and/or start getting too pushy, I push back and I'd rather get of that crowd as soon as possible. So I can deal with crowds, calm ones that aren't threatening my personal space.

Forum: Do you like lemons?
Hello,

I don't care for lemons themselves, they are a bit too sour for my taste, but I do like them. I like the lemon flavored lays, though I can't eat too much at a time, and I like lemon flavored candies.
