Hi all!

Cool idea!

The first world I saw was "treat".

Forum: Ideas for a Fundraiser?
Hi all!

My schools does thing thing where we put out jars in front of teachers classes and students put money in it for their favorite/least favorite (depending on what we decide for that year) and whoever raises the most money is the most liked/least liked. We've also had all of our NHS members take pies, water balloons and ice bucks and have even gotten our principal and several teachers to participate. Another suggestion would be a yard sale which has been fairly lucrative in the past.

Forum: How many hours do you spend reading textbooks?
Hi all!

This week I've already been informed of several tests this week in what seems like all of my classes so I'm hunkered down reading any and all material I have for those classes. It seems like I've been studying since this morning but it's only been about two hours.

How often do you study the material given to you in class? How many hours does it take you to review the material? How many hours can you study before your brain dies?

Thanks for the thoughts!

Hi all!

I would say I'm succeeding with sleep (I get about 8 hours a sleep on average) and I'm doing pretty well in the grades category. As for the social life area that's kind of lacking. I'm usually too focused on grades and sleep to have much of a social life outside of volunteering with my friends which I do every Wednesday. I do get together with one of my best friends at least once a week however for luck so that's always a welcome break from studying.

Hi all!

I don't really have a lucky number per say but I do have a favorite number. My favorite number is 3 and then almost any number that 3 goes into is also kinda a favorite. I like 9 but I'm to a fan of 6, 12 or 24. I guess even numbers aren't really my favorite...

Hi all!

I write about six papers a week. They are on average four to seven pages depending on what class it's for. I am currently working on a paper that is upwards of 20 pages and it is still a work in progress.

Hi all!

I agree with Unique_girl17. They should not have asked you for money for helping you out. True friends would do that without asking or, as soon as they knew you needed help, should jump right in and help you. It's your prerogative if you want to "pay" them with say pizza or something as a thank you but it should be just that--a thank you--not a "I'm paying for you help" kinda thing.

Subject: Pumpkin spice or peppermint?

Forum: Pumpkin spice or peppermint?
Hi all!

It seems that companies come out with a flavor for each season. From pumpkin spice coffee, bread, donuts, cookies and even tea to peppermint candy, cookies, muffins and hot chocolate these flavors seem to invade any and all types of food. Personally I’m a fan of peppermint (although not ironically of mint itself) and I don’t particularly like pumpkin spice.

What about you? Do you like pumpkin spice anything and everything or are you just a fan of the good ol pumpkin spice latte? What about peppermint flavored everything? Are there any other flavors that you’ve seen that tend to decorate the seasons?

Thanks for the thoughts!
