Subject: What Do You Eat On Nachos?

Forum: What Do You Eat On Nachos?
I'm not going to lie... I eat nachos way more than I should. I love tortilla chips that are sprayed with lime and covered in salt! I love dipping them in delicious food combinations. Through trial and error, I've figured out different nacho combinations that I go to to switch up my order.

Some favorites: queso, black beans, verde salsa, cheese, sour cream, and then I used to put ground beef on my nachos, but I now I try to cut down on my meat consumption.

I also love queso, black beans, ancho chile bbq sauce, verde salsa, cheese, sour cream, and then I would get pulled pork on it.

Sometimes I keep it simple and just take some tortilla chips and microwave some cheese on them and eat them with whatever salsa I have in the fridge.

What about you?

Hi Muka,

My parents house is 50/50. Sometimes it is so loud because my mom naturally talks loud and my dad is hard of hearing. My parents usually have the TV turned up high and our dogs are usually playing with each other which can get loud at times. I have a very quiet voice which is kind of strange considering how loud my house can get. My boyfriend's house is super quiet and sometimes I catch myself talking a little louder than necessary.

Good question!

Hi Jessica,

My most used apps on my phone are SnapChat, YouTube, and Words with Friends. I recently started playing Words with Friends again and I've been obsessed!

Hi Kendall,

I don't believe daily horoscopes that say what your day will be like because to me it seems like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I do believe in astrology signs because I've noticed that people tend to fit their sign. My brother thinks that I'm crazy for believing this and I know a lot of other people don't believe in it.

I'm a libra sun, leo moon, and scorpio rising.

Hi Unique!

I'm always down for chocolate ice cream. However, lately I've been loving pistachio ice cream. IT IS SO GOOD! I'm obsessed. I love ice cream any time of year, but I guess I do crave it more during the summer when it's hot outside.

Now I want to buy ice cream!
Have a good day.

Hi Thankful,

Unfortunately I do get afraid of public speaking. I try really hard not to get nervous but I still do. It helps if I keep my mind off of the presentation for as long as possible. It also helps when I know the material really well and if I get a chance to regulate my breathing before I present.

Have a nice day!

What is your phone wallpaper right now?
How often do you change your phone wallpaper?
Where do you find your wallpapers at?

My phone wallpaper right now is a picture of pink and white tulips. I wanted something springy.

I change my wallpaper every few weeks I'd say.

I usually find my wallpapers on Tumblr, but sometimes I use pictures I've taken.

Hi Song,

I'm sorry to hear about your break up, but it's good to hear that you enjoy being a lone wolf. Your break up sounds like it ended a good note, which is always nice.

I've only been in one relationship. We've been together for 7.5 years, however we have broken up 3 ish times. The first time we broke up was the longest amount of time we've broken up for. We broke up for about a month and a half. I took it horribly. He was the one who ended it and I became depressed. It was my first relationship and first break up so I think that's why I took it so hard. The next two "break ups" each lasted only a few days, and I was the one who broke us up one of those times. The "happiest" break up was when he wanted to break up. At this point I really didn't think we'd get back together, so I just wanted us to end a good note. I told him I was happy to have been in a relationship with him and I appreciated our time together. We hugged, and I took my stuff from his house and left. He ended up texting me the next day wanting to get back together. In hindsight, I shouldn't have gotten back together with him so quickly because I think we both needed time to process our own feelings, but we are still together today and that was like 5 years ago.

Anyway, enjoy your freedom!!!

Hello,

That sounds like a fun time!
The best thing I did this weekend was go on a hike. I really needed the exercise and time to be in nature. Plus, my dogs love going for hikes so it's a win-win. I get exercise and so do my dogs!

Honorable mention: playing fortnite. I have been so into this game. I suck but it's still fun.

Have a nice day!

Forum: What distracts you most?
Hi Jon,

I understand what you're going through, trust me. I am really good at distracting myself from what I should be doing. Usually I go on my phone and watch YouTube videos or go on Netflix. Sometimes if it's really bad, I will put my phone on silent and put it on the other side of the room so I can't easily grab it whenever I want.

Other suggestions:
1) Put a timer for 20 minutes and focus on your work for the whole 20 minutes. Then take a 5 minute break.
2) Give your phone to someone to hold on to until you are done studying or tell them to hold on to it for 1 hour so you can focus during that time,
3) Study at a coffee shop. This helps me because when I study in my room, I'm much more likely to distract myself with something on my desk.
4) Clear your desk of distracting items!

Hopefully my tips are helpful :)
