Forum: What's your wallpaper on your phone?
Good morning Humanitarian,

My wallpaper is that of a black/white photo of a brick road. I chose it because it doesn't interfere with all of the apps shortcuts on my home screen. It also reminds me that I am on a journey and I do not know what lies ahead but a step at a time, will get me there.

Thank you for the forum. Have a great day.

Niceeeee, that was genius Katelyn. To combine the homes like that. I definitely fancy the walk-in closet and a counter in the middle to fold laundry.

Hi Kyle,

I was 7 years old when I learned to ride a bike without training wheels. I had a 16 inch red BMX bike. I was a tomboy and was always fascinated with what the guys would do. So I took my dad's toolkit and took the training wheels off. I also experimented with taking off the tires and putting them on again. Now that I had y training wheels off I went for a ride and wobbled some but I soon got the hang of it. However, I crashed while riding. Not due to the training wheels being off but because I hadn't put my tires back on properly. Ouchh...that was a bloody day for me

Hi Maggie,

The place sounds beautiful. All the apples and cherries. Are the many dentists in the area? An apple a day keeps the dentist away. lol. I moved from the Bahamas to live in the US for education reasons. My father died when I was a teenager so the plan for me the eldest child, to come to the US and get a better education so I can be able to support my family left behind. That has worked well the past 14 years.

Thank you for the forum

Forum: Stereotypes about your ethnicity/race
It's a Tuesday, my last day of class, so I am happy about the day.

I want to address the issue of stereotypes that are latched to your race and ethnicity. As an immigrant, I often hear "You people from the islands always have 3 and 4 jobs" . This has often been true and the reason for some of us is we send monies back home to help support our families. We were raised to help others.

What stereotypes have been made against your race or ethnicity and can you offer a reason behind it?

Have a great day

Hey Katelyn,

It's comminnnngggg upppp! Your birthday! I hope you are super excited as I am for you. I have a quirkiness to me. I like black pens only I am writing in a book for the first time. You know everything is new and neat. My preferred pen color is blue because, as your mom mentioned, it stands out from the lines on the page. I also have tons of pens that I keep but mostly black. Sometimes I swap them out for blue or a nice fine point pen.

Have a great day!1

Hi Daniella, I'm glad you posted on Katelyn's wall and cast your vote. I am sure she appreciates it. By the way, your dream house was very graphic that I was able to see it clearly. It's beautiful. Especially the one wall concept with glass all around and choices of ocean view or mountain view. I hope to visit HI soon.

As always thank you or commenting under my forum.

It is a beautiful Monday morning. The sun seems to be shining, but I will not know until I go outdoors :).

Reminder, our Cnet member @Katelyn Marie has a birthday this Wednesday 12/19. We want her to win and win in style. Please cast her a vote and/or comment so she wins this week's scholarship.

For us dreamers, what does your ideal dream house looks like? Money is not an object so dream away?

My dream house has 5 bedrooms, all with their own bathrooms. I have guest quarters, 5 vehicles garage space, rooftop infinity edge swimming pool. My lengthy driveway is lined with palm trees and beautiful shrubs. There is a grand piano as soon as you enter my living room. I have a fully furnished basement with a cojoining media room and bar.

Have fun dreaming all!!

Good morning all, thank you for commenting under my forum. I agree with the importance and effectiveness a relationship can have on someone. I believe once love is the underlying theme, then each person involved is more open to receiving counsel from each other.

Have a great day all
