Forum: Leggings/Sweats or Jeans?
Hey!

It definitely depends on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. If I'm going to class, I most likely am wearing leggings (I don't own sweatpants). I only wear jeans to class if I have enough time to get ready and actually want to look nice. If I'm going out, I'll definitely wear jeans!

Hey guys!

If you ever met an all-knowing being and could only ask them one question, what would you ask?

I'm mostly asking this question because I'm interested to see what you guys say since I have no clue what I would ask! Maybe I would ask what happens when you die, but that seems a bit cliche lol. Can't wait to read your responses!

Hey!

I love concerts; they're the best! The most recent one I went to was my friend's band at a popular venue. Their band is so good and I also love seeing them live. I've also seen Twin Peaks and Odesza recently. I would really love to see Arctic Monkeys in concert since they are my favorite band and I've never seen them live!

Hey!

What a great and difficult question.

I think my strongest characteristic is that I'm compassionate. I try my best to put myself in others' positions and seeing other perspectives. I believe that this is a very important quality because it promotes understanding and empathy and creates a healthier mindset.

Hey!

I love the rain when I don't have plans to be outside haha! Sitting inside and listening to the rain hit the roof and watching the lightning is so relaxing. Falling asleep to a storm is one of the greatest things ever! But I do hate when it rains too much or when it gets in the way of doing things I want/ need to do. For example, walking to class in the rain is dreadful! Generally, however, I definitely have positive feelings towards rain.

Great forum! I know this is a split topic, so I'm excited to see what others have to say :)

Hey guys!

Let's get to know each other a little more with a game of never have I ever :) I'll start by saying something I've never done. The first commenter will say whether that have or have not done it, and then write a never have I ever of their own for the next commenter to respond to! Feel free to share stories to go along with your response :)

Never have I ever broken a bone.

Hey!

I found a really cool website called WayUp that has a ton of career opportunities on it. You just enter your location and it provides you with jobs. You can specify the search by entering specific job areas you want to work in and stuff! It has been a super helpful platform for me.

Forum: Baking or Cooking?
Hey!

I think I like cooking more! With baking, you can't experiment very much. If you don't put the right measurements of eat ingredient, it could totally throw the recipe! But with cooking, you have more ability to try different things and put your own flare in the dish. Also, whenever I bake, I can only eat a few bites of the dessert and then don't eat the rest!
I think that your personal taste definitely affects which one you prefer. I used to like baking more, but my palette has definitely changed to prefer savory food.

Hey!

I watched the hula hoop video you posted to my forum. You're really good!!! I can't even hula hoop normally hahaha.

I would rather have a friend that I don't keep up with often but can easily reconnect with when I see them. I feel like I have many of those relationships now because I am bad at virtual communication. Friendships that require constant communication are somewhat superficial and very exhausting to keep up, in my opinion.

Hey!!

Thanks for your response to my forum. All of your suggestions were super useful and I'll look into baby sitting and pet sitting :) You could totally do that too! You usually don't have to be "qualified".

I also trained new employees that came into my workplace. I found it easy to just go about my everyday life and actually show them how to do things instead of just telling them. I always checked to see if they had any questions. I also made sure to relate to them and release nerves from both myself and them by telling them I was confused or bad at a specific thing when I first came, but got the hang of it eventually. Be confident in your abilities; I'm sure you know way more than you think you do!
