Forum: Have you ever changed majors?
Hi everyone,

I know many college students stick with their heart on what they feel like pursuing, but I had my mind in a few different places during my early college.

During the first semester of my sophomore year I made the switch from being a Music major to an Anthropology major, which I had doubts about, but I'm now settling into a lot of new classes that I'm really enjoying. I believed minoring in Music would fit me much better, and Anthro is quickly becoming a significant interest of mine, no complaints about the switch.

How about for you all? Have any of you switched majors, and was the result positive or negative?

Hope you all have a wonderful evening.

Hi Sammy,

I usually get between 7-8 hours of sleep every night, anything less and I end up feeling horrible in the morning. I usually wake up for a while during the night too, so an hour or so may get knocked off. I'm kind of a wimp when it come to waking up with too little sleep, so I make sure I before an early morning. Even then I still have to drink coffee before every 8 am class I have, haha.

Have a great day.

Forum: Morning, afternoon, or night classes?
Hi Riley,

I agree, I prefer morning classes. I like feeling like I have an entire day ahead of me after I'm done with school. Luckily, this semester I got a schedule with almost all morning classes. Being done by 2 not only gives me a lot of time after class for whatever, but also gets me up and ready to start the day early. Afternoon classes make me feel like the time before each class is just me preparing for that day's class.

Have a fantastic day.

Hi Samantha,

My favorite Disney movie is Tarzan, mostly because of the soundtrack. I love every song in that movie and hearing any of them is super nostalgic to me. The story of Tarzan in any iteration has also always been interesting to me, and I love Disney's portrayal of it. They made what was a much more savage story into a nice family flick.

Have a great day!

Hi everyone,

In downtown Flagstaff, there is a local sushi bar called Karma Sushi and they genuinely have the best sushi I've ever eaten. Whenever my girlfriend and I have a bit of cash to blow, Karma is always our first and best choice.

Do you have a favorite local restaurant? If so, what do they serve and how good is it?

Have a fantastic day everyone.

Forum: How do you feel about airports?
Hey Jessica,

I'm having to take 4 or more flights a year now that I'm going out of state to college, and I have to say every airport experience I've had has been pretty bad. It's probably just because I don't really enjoy being surrounded by tons of people, aggressively hustling to get to where they're going. I don't think I'd like living in New York City too much, haha.

I love the feeling of coming home to my family or girlfriend depending on where I'm flying, though. That's the best experience someone can have in an airport I feel. I also have had some great flight experiences, I've met diverse people who I've had interesting conversations with, and generally once I'm in the air there are no issues whatsoever.

Have a great time in the Bahamas.

Forum: Do you listen to the Radio?
Hi Alex,

I used to listen to the radio all the time in my car, but not so recently my radio stopped working and I've yet to get a new one. I really need to get on that, driving for long periods without tunes is a lot worse in my opinion. I never really listened to talk radio shows unless I'm with a friend and that's what they pick to play. Without the radio I just use Spotify or listen to songs I've downloaded on my phone.

Have a good one.

Forum: Do you use pain killers?
Hi Sammy,

I try to avoid using painkillers unless I have a headache so severe it hinders me from doing anything, which is not often. I've definitely never used them for sore muscles though, I agree I like the feeling of sore muscles, it kind of shows that you had a great exercise before and you're getting somewhere. I tend to be able to tolerate most moderate pains though, at least enough to avoid using painkillers. Laying down for a bit usually helps, or drinking more water like you said.

Have a good one.

Forum: Do U ever run out of ideas on what to post ?
Hi Emilie,

I do run out of ideas quite frequently, either because of my own 'writer's block' or the fact that someone recently posted a similar question, so I'd feel bad about posting it. I also try not to repeat any of my earlier posts, maybe I will in the future but only if it's been a great while and I've simply forgotten.

Whenever I can't think of one I always try to think about my plans for the day, what I've personally been thinking about, or what my week is going to be like, and then ask questions that are relative to any of those subjects. Usually it works.

Have a great day.

Forum: Bottled, tap, or filtered water?
I think I prefer filtered water out of those choices. I don't really notice a taste difference between bottled and filtered, so I like the fact that I'm not unnecessarily using plastic when I don't need to. Whenever I go out on small road trips or host small get-togethers, though, I'll get bottled water simply because of the convenience. I guess that's really the biggest contributing factor.

Have a great day!
