Forum: Could our world end ?
Hey all,

Earlier this week I heard that a guy named David Meade predicted that our world will end on September 23rd. I don't know what are the calculations that led him to make this prediction.

In the past alot of people made such predictions and nothing happened. We still live in this world. The world hasn't ended. But it got me thinking about it. Just because all the predictions have failed doesnt mean that the world will not end one day. Nevertheless it also made me wonder; what are the chances of doomsday.

Do you think our world could end ? Why do you think so ?

Thanks again for your time!

Forum: Are You A Country or City Person?
Hey Eddie,

Thanks for the question.

I think I like some where in the middle. I love to live in a suburban setting. Nevertheless if I have to choose between the both, I would say I am more of a city person than a country person.

Thanks again

Hey Joe,

Excellent question!!

I often try my best to read through the comment before I post my comment. However I don't get to do it all the time, especially if I am busy. Then I try to just identify the questions raised and will respond to it.

Again whether I look for easy question or not depends up of my busy-ness. I often prefer some thought provoking questions. But it is not an everyday preference.

Thanks for your question!

Forum: Web MD
Hey,

Thanks for this forum.

This is so true in our (my wife and I) case. My wife is an expert in self-diagnosing. I am not totally agents seeking help from Prof Google. It can be consulted to gather some preliminary information about the symptoms we have. But we should be more keen to go to the hospital or consult a doctor if our symptoms are persistent.

The more we dig deeper in to google, the result we get is not going to be pleasant. In my experience we self-diagnoise us to the point of freaking out. For some reason we diagnose ourseleves with all sorts of diseases and deprive ourselves of the ability to think. I am saying all this because I have googled and has been guilty of being the Web MD.

Thanks again for this interesting forum!

Forum: Whats your favorite subject ? and Why ?
Hey all,

My favorite subject is History. I believe that who we are is not what we just see but we have something called a "historical consciousness." we are subconsciously made up of all the past experience people have gone through before us. Their hardships and prosperity has left a mark on us today. Specifically I like religious history. This is mainly because I like religion and theology.

How about you ? Whats your favorite subject and why so ?

Thanks for your time.

Forum: Do you have a nickname?
Hey Kara,

Growing up, my parents didn't actually call me by my official name. They preferred to call me a culturally affectionate term (which every parents call their son in the part of the world I am originally from).

However upuntill I was 6-7 years old my parents had a nickname for me. That was Titto. I have no idea how they came up with that name. Because it has nothing to do with my official name (i.e. Allan). Now my wife makes fun of me using that nickname.

Thanks again for this fun question!

Forum: How Often Do You Check Your Email?
Hey Kerry,

I have two email accounts. I have one account registered on my phone and that one I check often. Like every hour. But the other account I check maybe two or three times a day.

In general I do check my emails very often. I prefer communicating through emails than another means(texting or messaging).

Thanks for the question!

Forum: Do you post on Instagram?
Hey,

I used to post regularly in Instagram. But I haven't been on instagrm for some time now. It takes up alot of my time and so I am staying away from it.

I actually like instagram because its about photos. I like taking photos. If I had more time I would have regularly be there.

Thanks for the question!

Forum: Rant About Your Day!
Hey Bri,

Thanks for this forum.

My day was actually pretty straight forward. I spend my whole day- from 11:30 - about 5 pm in the library. I was working on an assignment. So I was finishing up my readings and writings. And of course I took some time to walk and eat. But majority of the time I was just in solitude.

After 5pm I had a lecture as well. So thats my day!

Thanks again for the opportunity to rant !

Forum: Jury Duty
Hey,

I was never on jury duty. And so I don't mind being once on duty. I just want to experience it.

My wife was on one last year ad at first she didn't like it. But after couple of days she liked it as the case became interesting. It was long and boring a times ( according to her) but over all it was a great experience for her.

Thanks for the question!
