Hmmm....the piano version of "You'll be in my Heart" from Tarzan. It always calms me.

Math. Just...math. I never understood the point of learning Calculus...

I can do anything to Algebra I.. After that...not so much...

Forum: College Safe Spaces...Yay or Nay?
So...It's been awhile, hasn't it? Well then, first off, I am POSSIBLY starting college in January of 2017, so that's exciting. So nervous though!

Anyway, the election has come and gone and we now have President-Elect Trump...who I am neutral about.

Ever since November 8th, however, my phone's newsfeed has been CHOKED by stories of colleges holding cry-ins, canceling or making final exams optional, and providing safe spaces that have (but are not limited to) play-dough, puppies (or videos of cute puppies), coloring books, hot chocolate, and grief counselors.

I think it's stupid. College is supposed to the place where we learn how to handle things like adults. But now...they seem to be babying their students. Isn't that kinda...well, NOT the point of college?

What do you think about this?

I am also 5' 1"...and I wish I was 5'5". I hate being this short...

Honestly, I think public schools have a lot of potential. That being said, as they are right now, I think they're just not working. Most of my teachers just showed movies rather than teach us, and I feel VERY unprepared for college and real life.

Ugh....I seriously hate people who shove their religion down other people's throats.

I myself am a Fundamental Baptist Christian. I hold my beliefs very near and dear to my heart, but I don't push my beliefs on other people.

I try to show by the way I live, act, speak, dress, and hold myself what my beliefs and convictions are. I may not agree with your religion and you may not agree with mine, but that's not something worth fighting over.

At the end of the day...we're all human, right?

Mmmm....plain Hershey chocolate or Resee's Pieces.

This is an interesting topic. I love the zoo. I find it very educational and informative about the wondrous creatures we share our world with.

At the same time...I cannot support taking healthy, thriving wild animals to live in a cage. If they were born in captivity, that's one thing. But to take an animal from its home just for the purpose of being trapped in a cage...no...that's just..wrong...

Honestly, I don't really care what people think...except for my family and my best friend. Other then them, why should I care what some stranger thinks about me?

I'm not a fast typer, plus writing notes down forces me to listen and to make sure my handwriting is legible for when I look over them later.
