Forum: Holy shit I graduated from CNET!
Whaaaaat?! This caught me by surprise! I logged in and I see this graduation cap next to my name. I guess I didn't keep track of my winnings! Yesterday marked 2 years of being on Cnet, and here I'm done with it.

So this is it, no more mula for me and I'm freeeeeee! Haha :)
Awww I feels like I'm leaving a job of two years.... This was fun! Wish some of the old Cnetters were still here so I could tell them goodbye.

Anyway... This is my last post. You all keep it real and fun here.
Peace.

Forum: Positives: Being an Adult
hi hi!

I think being an adult today as in 2017 is an amazing time. We actually don't have to work for money and pay taxes. We can make money and not work for money. We have the choice to not listen to the societies old formula - go to school, get good grades, get a job, work and die. We live in Google era, freedom of books era and information is EVERYWHERE. One can education oneself and figured out things on their own.
I;m grateful to be an adult right now because I can be, do and have whatever I desire without any restrictions.

Subject: Have you ever been at a wedding?

Forum: Have you ever been at a wedding?
Hi lovelies!

Summer is wedding season! So my question is - have you ever been to one? Who got married? Was it the traditional wedding in the church, with the wedding dance the cake cutting ect.? Was it unique in any way? How was the party afterwards?

I have been to three weddings that were outstanding from all the other ones.
1. My friends got married in the church the traditional way, but the party afterwards was the highlight! It lasted 3 days and 3 nights which is a tradition in the country I'm from. They rented an entire hotel in Michigan which was in the middle of the woods, with all the fun you can imagine. Game rooms, pool, party rooms, porches, trails, volleyball courts... I mean sick. All 150 people had a blast.

2. My friend had a theme wedding "Sneakers". Everyone including the groom and the bride was wearing some kind of sneakers, and people got really creative. The bride was wearing a short white dress but kinda reminded me of a tennis player look. Afterwards again, party for 2 days and 2 nights on a camp ground, total of about 30 tents.

3. This wedding was at a night club! My friend rented an entire club to have his wedding and party there. The alter was where the DJ stage was, and the wedding music was progressive house with smoke and laser lights, go-go dancers, every guest was in a costume... I mean it was like a fantasy thing. Unreal!

hi hi!

Like you I need absolute silence when I study and read. I can have music if I'm working on a project that involves creativity, but when it comes to hearing my own thoughts when studying - just birds and the wind shall be present.

hi hi!

Yes I noticed, but it's not like that everywhere in the world. I think it has a lot to do with the movement of women rights, women being heard and taken more seriously. The pressure of society had women giving birth, cooking and cleaning for FOREVER. Now days women want to work, have a voice and actually decide for themselves when to have children.
Also 30-40 years ago education did not cost much and so young people were more independent perhaps?
I'm 30 and I will be totally fine if I have kids later, by late 30 or even early 40. I would also love to adopt. There is no rule of how to live so...

hi hi!

First I just want to say that I enjoyed your responses to my last two forums, "What kind of famous would you be" and "Last someone new you met." Just from your thoughts I feel l that you're a talented, fierce, strong opinion young lady. I'm just glad that a young multi talented person knows her value, has a strong voice and wants to give back. I would totally go to you workshop by the way :)

Back to farmer's market. It's been a while since I went to one although I really enjoy going there. Just like you I like to chat with the farmers, and just look at all delicious home made goodies and crafts.

Hi lovelies!

Who was the last person you met? I mean you introduced yourself, had a chat, and maybe exchanged numbers to keep in touch? Where did it happen? Was it a friendly meet, school or work related?

Last someone new I met was at this seminar I attended two weeks ago. Afterwards I stayed around for snacks and I started talking to a girl who also attended the seminar. Turned out we are in the same work field, we are about the same age and we have very similar goals. We exchanged business cards and we're heading to another network even tonight!

hi hi!

Haha I think we all have road raged at some point. I used to do it when I was a teen. I would drive fast, cut sharp and honk loud. Now I just smile at such "road warriors". I mean we can get upset and let other people take us over and take our positive energy away, or we could just let it go and let them be.
