How do you guys feel about kids calling 911 on their parents?
Little kids are being taught these days to stand up for themselves and
reach out for help and justice. In families where children are
physically abused, I'd say this teaching to call 911 comes in handy. Now
I'm thinking back in a day, if I had the right to call 911, my mother'
would have been arrested every week haha!
Anyhow... My concern is, when kids call cops on their parents for small
things, like slapping or other actions. This morning there was a story
on the radio (which was meant to be funny) when a 5 year old boy called
911 on his dad because he ran a red light. He literally called 911 once
they got home. The boy sounded sweet and not mean in any way. After the
911 dispatcher heard the kid's voice, she asked if she could talk to his
daddy, and the radio didn't play the rest of conversation.
Do you think it's a good idea that kids are encouraged to call 911? Do
you feel like parent can get into unnecessary trouble because of their kids?
I remember sitting in the dentist chair as early as age 5. By now every
single of my teeth have fillings.
Sweets are not one and only reason we get cavities. You can have weak
teeth by genes, or by not flossing and cleaning daily. If someone have
strong well teeth, loves sweets and they take care of their teeth, I
don't think there would be issues.
It's crazy to me how often people use pain killers. Not too many people
tend to tolerate simple pains.
I heard one man saying at my work, that he constantly has Ibuprofen in
his pocket, because he works out a lot and his muscle are soar. Well
hello?! Yeah the muscles are going to be soar if you work out heavily,
but isn't that a great feeling? I remember in college, young girls 20-22
years old, were often eating pain killer pills because they had a
headache. Perhaps drinking more water and getting a better night sleep
might help the best.
Do you guys tolerate pain when it comes around or do you kill it right away?
I'm definitely a morning person. I wake up between 5am and 5:30am every
morning to go to work. I also have a hard time sleeping in during the
weekend since my body is used to this waking up time. I went to sleep at
2am this weekend and still got up after 5am. So annoying! But I like
mornings, and I also need 7-8 hours of sleep during the week.
