I do you believe you can find a soulmate, in the sense that you can find deep and meaningful connections with somebody who shares your same morals values and integrity. I met my husband when I was 13 years old, and he has been my everything since the day I met him. I’m now 40, and we’ve been married 23 years! I would say he is absolutely without a doubt my soulmate. And I cannot even imagine one day without him so having said that, I believe it exist!

You just havent met the one thats “meant to be”!

He wanderer!
I actually like shopping by myself. I don’t necessarily like buying things, but I do you just love browsing and taking my time looking at different things.

But otherwise, I am pretty much an extrovert and I Just preferred to be surrounded by people.

Thanks for the post!

Today I go for my monthly IV infusion of Benlysta to treat my Lupus. If I was to answer these questions they would read;

1)Life would be better if……

I didn't have Lupus and Sjogrens disease.

2) I am not defined by, or beaten by....

My answer is easy. Just because life would be better without Lupus and Sjogrens, I do not and refuse to let these horrible diseases beat or define me!

3) Life is easier when....

Life is easier when I realize how blessed I am and how much love and support I have on a daily basis!

Wow guys- a simple post to illicit responses has actually been quite cathartic! Thanks for your help before you even answer!

Hope all is well today you guys- and remember life is what we make of it, despite our obstacles!!

My signature sandwich would be a fried egg on garlic sourdough bread that was toasted and buttered, with tomato jam, bacon and some sort of greens like spinach. Its easy and already been done so not very original but I love it!

Hi Julia,
I LOVE that you love animals so much. Your little profile picture of the Giraffe caught me immediately! I also love all animals, but I do eat meat.

I did not however, growing up until my early 20's as I grew up on a farm and the very animals we would eat are the animals that I grew to love. Im not sure what changed as I got older, but I did struggle for many years with anemia as well as having low blood protein and was always told I needed to add meat to my diet. I just somehow migrated to it and have been comfortable with that choice for several years.

Thank you all who have commented.

I agree with this statement very much. While I can not control that I have Lupus and Sjogren's disease, I can control how I react to the curve balls that are thrown against me. I try to look at the bright side and "try" (although at time I fail miserably!) to not get too knocked down when I have a set back in my health. I try to remember that it can always be worse, and every day that i'm upright and standing, im pretty blessed.

Hope you all had a great Tues, and I don't know about you but im ready for humpday!

Forum: How to move forward from something hard
@ Romeo- I think that the way you are coping with this is great. Sometimes in life, no matter how hard we try, there is nothing else we can do but learn from a situation. The other thing I may suggest, if you still really want that relationship with her, is to just make it a point, once a week to call her and talk to her. Even if nothing else comes out of it, in the end, you know you've tried your best and you want be left with the "what if I tried harder" feeling. Thank you so much for your response.

@ Simone_rosario@ It must be so hard to want a relationship with someone in your reach, but have a hard time finding common ground. Something I have found useful in my life, is compromising. I bend alittle (but not so much that it feels like breaking me!) so I can achieve the desired result I am looking for. I think with time and hard work you may be able to have a relationship with your dad and I will keep you and your dad in my good thoughts. Thank you so much for sharing in a sort of heavy forum post.

@ animal lover- having someone in your life who is difficult to connect with due to certain behaviors makes it difficult to move forward. The wise Mya Angelou once said "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't IT, then change your attitude." I think there is a lot of truth to this. Not saying at all that your attitude is bad, but sometimes when you can't change another the only way for it to actually change is for you to change the way you think about it. I pray that whatever the outcome Julia, that you find a way to connect and enjoy your grams. Thank you so much for sharing I appreciate you very much, and often read your comments.

Loves to you all!
