Hmmm....the piano version of "You'll be in my Heart" from Tarzan. It always calms me.

Math. Just...math. I never understood the point of learning Calculus...

I can do anything to Algebra I.. After that...not so much...

Subject: College Safe Spaces...Yay or Nay?

Forum: College Safe Spaces...Yay or Nay?
So...It's been awhile, hasn't it? Well then, first off, I am POSSIBLY starting college in January of 2017, so that's exciting. So nervous though!

Anyway, the election has come and gone and we now have President-Elect Trump...who I am neutral about.

Ever since November 8th, however, my phone's newsfeed has been CHOKED by stories of colleges holding cry-ins, canceling or making final exams optional, and providing safe spaces that have (but are not limited to) play-dough, puppies (or videos of cute puppies), coloring books, hot chocolate, and grief counselors.

I think it's stupid. College is supposed to the place where we learn how to handle things like adults. But now...they seem to be babying their students. Isn't that kinda...well, NOT the point of college?

What do you think about this?

I am also 5' 1"...and I wish I was 5'5". I hate being this short...

Forum: Do Public Schools Still Work?
Honestly, I think public schools have a lot of potential. That being said, as they are right now, I think they're just not working. Most of my teachers just showed movies rather than teach us, and I feel VERY unprepared for college and real life.
