Wassup Erin,

I would totally say I am hard on myself. I am always beating myself up and usually other the craziest or smallest things. Like the other day I accidentally put on my foundation before putting on my makeup primer. I almost cried but I guess that one was kind of understandable because without the primer I am vunerable to breakouts and acne, sooooo. But the other stuff, like when I stuttered on my speech in class. I have still been crying about it at night for the last three years. No joke. And I also have the tendancy to beat myself up over my looks and clothing and shoes and just everything. It is honestly sad.
And it is hard to listen to advice from others who tell me to don't think this way or the other and stuff. But like how can I not possibly think about that kind of stuff. How can I not possibly beat myself up. It is diffucult and I have tried, really hard. I have tried online therapy but no I am still struggling.

Hmmm....the piano version of "You'll be in my Heart" from Tarzan. It always calms me.

Math. Just...math. I never understood the point of learning Calculus...

I can do anything to Algebra I.. After that...not so much...

Subject: College Safe Spaces...Yay or Nay?

Forum: College Safe Spaces...Yay or Nay?
So...It's been awhile, hasn't it? Well then, first off, I am POSSIBLY starting college in January of 2017, so that's exciting. So nervous though!

Anyway, the election has come and gone and we now have President-Elect Trump...who I am neutral about.

Ever since November 8th, however, my phone's newsfeed has been CHOKED by stories of colleges holding cry-ins, canceling or making final exams optional, and providing safe spaces that have (but are not limited to) play-dough, puppies (or videos of cute puppies), coloring books, hot chocolate, and grief counselors.

I think it's stupid. College is supposed to the place where we learn how to handle things like adults. But now...they seem to be babying their students. Isn't that kinda...well, NOT the point of college?

What do you think about this?
