Forum: Chronic Complainers
Hello!

I never act openly rude to anyone, but I strongly dislike people who always complain. I've discussed a lot of my views and experiences in previous posts, but in general I let them complain and then after the day ends I try to avoid them all the time I see them.

No one wants to be around someone who always looks at their situations negatively. Obviously, people can be mad about unfortunate occurrences in their life, but always bringing other people down with them and not being able to move on strikes me as very childish and unnecessary.

Have a great day!

Hello!

I would say to think of the end goal in your career path, but numerous people already touched on the point.

I think over most other things, enjoying what you study and really being interested and involved in your classes help to make the education a better experience. If you don't particularly like your major or don't want to even be in school whatsoever, obviously changes need to be made. But when you find what you truly want to do, you'll be extremely motivated to do well.

Have a great day!

Hello!

Recently I finished reading the Collected Poems of William Carlos Williams! He wrote in the early 1900s and I really love his style. If you wouldn't consider a collection of poems a book, I read Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald previous to William Carlos Williams. I definitely recommend Fitzgerald, although I think The Great Gatsby or This Side of Paradise beats Tender is the Night as far as enjoyment goes for me.

I plan on reading the Portrait of the Artists as a Young man next, which I know absolutely nothing about! I hope I enjoy the story!

Thanks for the post!

Do people control your decisions? How much or how often?

I've noticed more and more when I take notice to my life, how often I'll let people control my decisions. Not in a bad way, but how much I can be swayed. I don't think being influenced by other people to make decisions should be looked at all in the negative, but I am becoming more and more conscious of everyone's impact in my day to day life.

Have a wonderful day!

Hello Karly!

I do consider myself to eat very healthy!

I do not eat anything with food coloring or dye, which actually encapsulates more than you would think. I always get stomach aches when I eat things with dye, and my face tends to break out too – I don't consider eating worse to be worth all of the complications.

I don't watch my calories simply because I do not need to. Currently in my life, I am at an age where I would be able to eat terribly and my weight would not be affected. Of course, I watch what I eat, but I do not sweat eating poorly for a day.

Have a great day!
