I may be a bit biased as I play this instrument but I love the clarinet. Many people think of Squidward when the clarinet is mentioned but when played by someone truly talented, it is such a beautiful instrument. It has such a clear tone and range. It's such a diverse instrument, it could sound so bright and playful in the higher register but very dark and deep in it's lower register.

My all-time favorite book will forever be I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak. He also wrote the Book Thief which is a close second.
I love this book because it shows all the sides of true humanity and the good that can come from all the bad. It reminds me that everyone is human but we can still make differences. Even a small act of kindness could have the biggest impact on a person. It's a beautiful book and Zusak's writing is so real and raw and amazing.

One of my all-time favorite quotes is from the Harry Potter Series when Dumbledore says "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light"

Forum: What to Bring to College (Minimising)
I had this same issue before heading off to my first year of college! I brought along 3 books with me and ended up reading none of them because I was so busy with school. Odds are, you probably won't have much chill time so I'd recommend only a few as well.
For movies, I'd recommend subscribing to something like Netflix or Hulu. It'd be much easier and you wouldn't have to take up space but maybe bring along your top 5 movie picks that aren't online. Again, you might not have that much time to sit down and watch a movie but there's also so many other ways to get a cheap and easy movie. As for CD's, if you have an iTunes account you can always sync your CD's onto there. Or, find a case with sleeves that holds multiple disks and just put them in there, I have a blue one that can hold 8 CD's a page. It makes it easier to carry around your music without having to worry about each and every case.
I would bring only 1 or 2 of your stuffed animals, it is always nice to have some decor for your bed and something to cuddle with. If you have room for your guitar and you play it often then I'd say bring it. I'm a music major so I always encourage musical instruments. You could get involved with some fun things on campus if you play, maybe even some paid jobs.
It's always good to have time to yourself or time to settle but if it's your first year, you're probably going to be so busy but it's so fun! Enjoy college, it'll fly by fast.

Hey! I don't think it's a must for everyone but personally, I believe it would definitely help the relationship. Living together allows a couple to see the true lifestyle of his or her partner and there are things that could make or break a relationship. You may find that your partner has living habits that are infuriating or aren't in sync with your own and this can cause arguments. These arguments can also help see whether you and your partner are able to compromise with each other. I don't think this is necessarily religious but something that all couples often do or don't do.
