What type of learner are you?

Have you ever had to take a quiz to determine what type of learner you are? I have had to when I was younger, and I feel like it has been really helpful for me. I am mostly a visual and hands-on learner, as often I learn best when I can watch someone else demonstrate something and then try it for myself.
What type of learner are you? If you are unsure, what type do you think you are? What environments promote your learning the most?

    hey samantha !

I am a visual and a hands-on learner. Just like you!

Now I know this because I've learned best these ways...I do well with verbal lectures, but I prefer something on the white board where I could just take my pen and write or draw (organic chemistry)

I am also a painter...I love to paint, so in many ways, the things I love reflect how I learn things. Which might explain why I want to pursue a career in dermatology, haha It's very visual :)

I love being a visual learner :) It brings out my creative side

    Hey Samantha,

I am an auditory learner. I learned best when I hear something. That is why I enjoy audiobooks. I retain a lot of information when I hear it. Perhaps that is why I can remember the lyrics to almost every classic rock song that I have ever heard.

I am studying elementary education and we have done many of these tests to see what type of learners we are. This is because it is important to know what types of learners your students are so you can meet all of their needs.

I am also a combination of a visual and kinesthetic/hands-on learner.

I definitely do not do so well in classes where the professor just lectures which only caters to auditory learners. I do alright though when it is combined with visuals.
