Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Good Monday Morning CNET,

If you could shop for free at 1 store, what store would you pick and why?

I would choose Hobby Lobby. I just moved and would love to have all new home decor and furniture. The practical choice would be the grocery store since I have a family of 4.

    Have a great week!

    Hey Becky!

I would say Michael's because I spend way too much money there as it is... I love arts and crafts.

If I was to pick a practical choice, I would say the grocery store Kroger, haha, because then I'd get all my groceries for free.

So it would be between a well-decorated house, and a full fridge... I would probably choose Kroger overall!

    Fun topic!

    Have a great day!

    Hello,

If I could shop anywhere, it would probably be Dick's Sporting Goods. Since I enjoy being outdoors and sports, this would be the perfect place for me to get all my gear for any activity. Also, things are pretty expencive there, so this would definently help my wallet out. Great question!

    Have a great day!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Aloha,

Although not as fun, I would probably pick the local grocery store. Not having to pay for groceries would be amazing! I feel like I’d save most of my money and be able to buy the things I wanted at the other stores.

Fun to think about! Now if only we can make this happen somehow :p

    Mahalo,
    Dan

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hi Becky,

This is a great question! I think I would have to go with a logical choice on this one: Walmart. I choose this because you can get basically everything here: groceries, clothes, arts & crafts, electronics, even gas! So with all the money I would save, I could use that for the other specialty stores I want to shop at!

    Thanks for the post.

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hi Becky,

The grocery store was the first to run through my mind, but since Dan mentioned that one already, I'd choose a free shopping trip to a car dealership. It'd be fun to drive around in a million dollar car for a while!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hey Hey!

I would say a grocery store. I think about food non stop so I would definitely make the most out of that free pass.

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hey Becky,

    Great Question!

I wish I had the opportunity to shop for free at a store that I love :)

Imagine how cool it would be

To answer your question, I would definitely pick Costco's because this company is filled with so many wonderful things that you can buy and it has different types of department.

You can shop for clothes, shoes, house items, furniture, food, electronics, and many more. There's a food section that you can go to if you're feeling hungry and while shopping. The store is so big and have everything you need. It's also a good store to go to when you need to go Holiday shopping.

Thanks for the forum and have a great day!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hi, mtteacher,

    Fun forum!

I love food of all kinds. (Besides blue cheese.) If it weren't for my meticulous budget-making skills and self-discipline, I'd spend a lot of money on food.
My first choice was Shoprite. Then I considered the fact that clothes are also important and can be quite costly. Thus, I can conclude that I'd choose Target to shop at for free. Target has good-quality, stylish clothing. Target also has a pizza hut, a delicious assortment of frozen foods, baskets of mangos, watermelons, and other fruits, and aisles and rows of poptarts, spreads, cookies, icings, pastas, and more. :)
    Thanks for the forum!
    Have a lovely day. :)

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Aloha mtteacher,

I have to agree I really like the grocery store idea and specifically I would pick Whole Foods Market. At first I thought of Amazon but I don't know if that counts since it's an online store but you'll always need food so that seems like a smarter choice. Wouldn't the world be a better place if we could all get our groceries for free? lol. If everyone on earth could get food and no one would go hungry. It always gets to me that we have enough food to go around its just he money for that food that may be hard to come by. I think if food were free people would choose to eat healthier. I think part of the draw of fast food restaurants is that it is cheap. The conception hat fresh fruits and vegetables is expensive I think stops some people from even trying to buy them. If food did not cost anything everyone could afford to eat healthy.

    Thanks for the forum!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

Super Target because it has it ALL! I can decorate, feed and dress my family of 6, find something for down time at home, stuff for my dog, stuff to get crafty, and so on! Plus, I could just buy gift cards to other places, haha! Though, that may not have been included in the question....

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hi, mtteacher,

I personally would love to shop at Micheal's for free. As an artist I spend countless of money getting paints and other much needed art supplies.
However a more logical choice would be Costco. They have food, clothes, medicine, tech stuff, and other pretty useful things.

This was a very fun topic!

    Have a wonderful day!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hey!

I would say walmart for sure because you can get anything from it. They have clothing, food, home stuff etc. you name it they got it so i would love to shop there for free.

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hey Becky,

Does Amazon count? Because that would be my first pick if it does count.

If it doesn't count, Walmart would be the store I would choose. They just have a wide selection of items and while I do like Target, my local Walmart just has so much more than Target although our Target still has a lot to choose from.

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

    Hey Becky!
This is a difficult decision! If I could only pick one store, it would probably have to be Sam's Club. This store has anything and everything I can think of and plenty of it, especially for a big family. Plus, I can never leave this store without spending a lot of money and that is after I've stopped myself from putting things I love but don't need in my cart.

    Thank you for the forum!

Re: Where would you pick to shop for free?

EASY! WAL-MART! I am a working mama with 3 kiddos! So if I had the chance to knock out winter clothes, Christmas shopping, regular old household needs, oh my gosh toilet paper, maybe redo each of our bedrooms, and get some groceries to boot Wal-Mart would be my game.
