    I love CNet

Hey, everyone! I've been on Collegenet for a while, it's so thrilling to see everyone's responses and ideas.
CNet has changed my life significantly, it is a community in which I feel the sense of belonging I've always wanted. It truly warms my heart to get so many thoughtful responses to the forums I create, and it's exciting to get votes.
A few nights ago, when I saw that I was the #1 top rookie, I was ecstatic, I told my parents and they were so proud of me. I was proud of myself, too.
I don't think I've ever felt better about myself and my future. This site and the payoff that comes with active participation and contribution gives me a sound sense that I have not one but many chances in life, a future to look forward to.

    Re: I love CNet

    Hi Chloe!

I'm so happy you're apart of this great community! CNet means so much to me as well.

    1. What do you love most about CNet?
It's pretty extraordinary that the stars aligned us all to this website- and that we're all able to have an opportunity to pay off college/loans while getting to know amazing people and different perspectives!

    2. How has it changed your life?
It has eased my financial worries, and I have a safe space to vent and express my opinions/feelings to complete strangers, which is somewhat easier and more comforting.

    3. Were you excited/eager to tell your parents about it?
I definitely was eager to tell them! I texted my mom a screenshot that I won and she was in disbelief! She was like "by just answering forums?!" haha and honestly, it meant the world being able to ease both mine and my mom's financial worries.

    4. How did you feel when you won a scholarship?
Like all my hard work finally payed off! I was ecstatic! It took 256 posts until I finally won my first scholarship, so it meant the world to me. I even told my best friend in person and she was so relieved because she knew how much effort and time I put into this website :)

    5. How do you feel when you receive responses to your forums?
Honestly, I truly feel seen. The simple act of writing a message and interacting with a person online in a genuine manner is a great feeling.

    6. How do you feel when you receive votes?
I think receiving votes are great! But, I feel even better when I have meaningful conversations and connections with people.

    Best wishes to you!

    Alex
