What animal would you come back as?

If you could come back in another life as an animal what animal would it be? Do you relate more to one particular animal than another? Behavioral studies have found that people respond with more attention when seeing an animal or person than something stationary, like a building. The amygdala, the almond-shaped region of the brain associated with emotions, including fear, has cells that respond when seeing images of animals. The amygdala seems to specialize in alerting us to things that are emotionally important to us, either positive or because they’re scary. Animals are both. Some may want to eat us and others could be our dinner. Some animals we just want to cuddle. Sometime way back in our very distant past, we learned that when it comes to creatures four-footed and crawling on the ground, we’d best take notice and this habit remains deeply embedded in us today. What animals are you most attracted to? What animal do you most fear? If you could come back in another life as an animal, which one would it be and why?

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hello!

If I were to come back as an animal I would come back as a dolphin! I would come back as a dolphin because they are known to be friendly and geniuses! I would say the friendly part is part of my personality but not a genius! I also would like to comeback as a dolphin because they care for others which represents me I love taking care of others.

    Thanks!

    Hey!

If I came back I would come back as a peacock. They are just so beautiful and show off and bossy lol. I just think that they are so cool.

    Thanks
    Have a nice day!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

Hi Brenda! I love this question!

If I were to choose an animal that I share characteristics with would be a lioness. A lioness who stays in the shade taking care of her cubs, adopting any abandoned cubs along the way. If I reincarnated as an animal in another life, I would definitely want to be a lioness.

Lions are not unlike humans in several ways; first, they are at the top of the food chain like humans. Their only enemies are packs of coyotes, and human beings who love to hunt them or who are disrupting the habitat by protruding the lion’s natural environment. Secondly, male lions are the “bread winners” while female lions are the “stay at home moms” of the pack. Additionally, males and females mate for life, even though the males have more than one female. Isn’t this every man’s dream?!

Yet, while the attraction of coming back as a “stay at home mom” for my cubs while my “husband” hunts all day, in reality I would tremble to pieces if I were to ever come across a real one. As I previously mentioned, lions are at the top of the food chain and I certainly don’t want to become a snack to the family! The fear that would consume me would probably cause me to die of shock first, haha.

Thanks for reading, interesting and fun topic!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

Ever since I was maybe 8 years old, I have been attracted to rabbits. They have always seemed to me very innocent and pure creatures

What animal do you fear the most?
I think I probably fear bears the most out of any animal.im afraid a bear might eat me

If you could come back in another life as an animal, which one would it be and why?

It would probably be a hawk. I have wished that I could fly in the sky, away from civilisation and a hawk would fulfill that requirement

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hello Brenda,

I guess the animal I'm most "attracted" to are probably sheep. I love the relationship that sheep have with humans. The grow wool, and have to be sheared, otherwise they'll be crushed under the weight of their wool. We can shear them and use their wool to produce goods for ourselves. I think it's really beautiful.

The animal I most fear are probably moose. They're absolutely terrifying. They're huge, super fast, and extremely strong and dangerous. If you were to hit a moose with your car, the moose probably wouldn't even fall over while your car would be crushed and you would be dead.

If I were to come back as an animal in another life, I'd like to be a golden retriever. I think dogs live pretty good lives for animals.

    Thank you for the topic.

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Good morning, Brenda,

The animal I am most attracted to and would like to come back as is an eagle.

An eagle flies higher than any other bird. It is said that if an eagle has appeared, it bestows freedom and courage to look ahead. The eagle is also symbolic of the importance of honesty and truthful principles. They are so distinct, so powerful and mighty and so beautiful!

I have encountered a few eagles in my lifetime. The most recent was when I was driving home from a soccer game this past spring. It literally dove down from the sky and flew across and right in front of my car on the highway. I could see it's majestic beauty as it soared so effortlessly by me. It seemed like it was in slow motion. It happened after my last club game and my next adventure was going to be prepping for college ball. It struck me because it did symbolize for me to stay strong, courageous and to look ahead to my new beginnings.

I also pride myself in being honest and truthful so I think it is another reason why I relate to eagles.

The eagles happened to my school mascot from kindergarten through high school as well! Maybe that is another reason they have captivated me so much.

The animal I most fear is the alligator. Alligators are aggressive, menacing, and can become huge-over 11 feet long and weigh as much as 500-1000 pounds. Their tails alone are capable of breaking humans bones. Their jaws are tremendously powerful. I am quite sure they will attack and eat a human for no reason other than for the thrill of a kill. I am thankful I don't live in Florida where it seems most live!

    Thanks.

    Jon

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hi Brenda,

I would choose to come back as a hyacinth macaw. They are a very deep blue and live in the Amazon and other tropical regions of Brazil especially. They’re the most attractive species in my book. I like them because they are very beautiful creatures, they can talk if trained, live in warm places with tons of food, and can fly! If I came back as a creature being able to see the world would be on the top of my list! Also being able to fly away from danger and your problems seems like a pretty cool thing! I can see myself soaring around the jungle, and if I’m bored I’d migrate to far away places. Unfortunately hyacinth macaws are a threatened species because of their beauty. Bird peddlers sell them in underground markets for thousands of dollars. If I became a hyacinth macaw, I’d have to watch out for poachers!

An animal that scares me are sharks! I’ve been within feet of a bear, and that doesn’t scare me as much as being in the open ocean not knowing what lurks beneath. Sharks are mean, the baby black bear cub I encountered ran away from us! Sharks, unless they’re baby sharks are better off in the distance.

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hey Brenda,
I would definitely say a lioness. They are so powerful and beautiful creatures. I am always mesmerized by just watching them. I love how they exuberate female power and care for their offspring fiercely. They are majestic creatures who are tactful and strong and at the end of the day, aren't afraid to attack and stand up for what is theirs. As a mother myself and a female, I strive to portray strong characteristics and I hope to raise my daughters in the same manner.

    Neat topic!

    Thanks!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

Hoping that the oceans are cleaner and I live in the part of the world where I'm not slaughtered, captured, or have my baby taken away by humans, I'd like to come back as a dolphin! They are just so cute and adorable, plus very intelligent and playful. Coming back as a golden eagle or other bird of prey does seem nice, but I feel bad when I see nature videos and the way these birds of prey have to eat... I'm not too big on killing other animals. Being a dolphin is one thing because fish are just there and at least when they're eaten by dolphins, it's a quick and bloodless process. Fun forum!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

I'd totally be an owl. No natural predators, they aren't swimming in plastic, they're fierce and help us out by cleaning up the mouse population. They mate for life and ferociously protect their loved ones.

Not to mention they're adorably awkward and videos of them really brighten my day.

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hi Brenda,

I would definitely be a cat, probably a house cat specifically. My cats have such a cushy life. Food whenever they are hungry, treats regularly, naps very often, aloof when they want or cuddly when they want. A lot of times I find myself wishing I were them,LOL.

I fear a lot of animals such as sharks, alligators, snakes, spiders (or any kind of bugs for that matter). Guess I'm jsut a 'fraidy cat!

Thanks for the forum, and have a good one!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hey Brenda!

My favorite animal hands down is the platypus. I have been fascinated with it ever since I was young. I think the fact that it has a soft, docile nature is what initially allures you but it also has a factor of danger with its poisonous spurs. The fact that it is also a mammal who lays eggs is very quirky. It is absolutely adorable and super weird.

I am terrified of sharks but love the ocean. However, If i came back as a platypus I wouldn’t have to worry about having them as a predator.

    Thank you for the post!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hello,

If I was to reincarnate as an animal, I'd prefer to be a wolf. It's always been one of my favorite animals, and I think it would be interesting to live life with a pack, as I love working with a team.

While hunting and eating raw meat is something I'd have to learn to get used to, one of mankind's strongest trait is the ability to adapt. Another reason I'd like to be a wolf is that they are known to be one of nature's best runners. Wolves are known as endurance runners, instead of sprinters. They can trot at around 5 miles per hour for a very long distance while looking for prey, with the ability to speed up to 25-30 mph with short bursts to take down prey. Currently I play tennis in school, so I'm more suited to the sprinting style.

    Have a nice day!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hello Brenda!

If I came back I would like to come back as a big thick Bull! My zodiac sign is a Taurus and seeing as I play football, when I was playing youth at the time my mom would always tell me to act like my sign and hit like a bull because I'm a defense player. So that's what I did and still do. I know so people fear bulls, but they're only aggressive when they feel threatened and that's me, they eat a lot of protein vegan style, I eat protein meat style.

The one animal that I fear would be almost anything poisonous, crocs/alligators and snakes. Sorry couldn't just choose one.

    Have a great week!

    Thankful

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hi Brenda,

If I were to come back as an animal, I think I'd want to come back as a bird. I've always wanted to know what it's like to fly, especially without being aided by machinery. I love the thought of being able to fly anywhere, and being free of worry.

    Everyone have a good day!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hey Brenda!

The animal I am most attracted to is a tiger or cheetah. I love their colors and the way they seem so superior as cats. I feel like they walk around showing off their fur like models on a catwalk.

I fear every animal that may harm me. I love animals but I haven't really been in contact with any. I never had a dog or cat growing up at home. I only had parakeets that were always in their cage. Although I'm not afraid from dogs or cats, if they make sudden movements I may get startled. But if i were to say I fear an animal it would probably be an animal like a huge alligator or shark or something. An animal that has attacked people..

If I could be an animal I would be tiger or lioness. I would love to be the wife of the king of the jungle. But i love cats in general so a beautiful cat would do.

    Anyways, thanks for the forum!

    Have a great weekend!

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hey,

If I could I would come back as a bird. I dont really have a bird in particular. I just been fascinated by these animals and their abilities. When I was younger my mom had two pet birds and I thought they were so cool.
I would want to be able to fly everywhere and anywhere. Birds have the ability to build new nest no matter where they decide to live. I love to travel a lot already, so being able to fly would be so convenient. I would for once get to see the world from a different perspective which I think would be a cool experience.

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hi,

I believe that I would come back as a tiger. I've always been fascinated with how strong and graceful they are. They're absolutely gorgeous and every one is different by personality and striped markings. Although they seem really reserved and shy at first, once you observe them a little more they'll show you their goofy side. Tigers are also extremely curious, they're always wanting to check out every little thing that's out of the ordinary. Normally, tigers are solitary animals because they are so territorial. I've been extremely competitive all my life and that has gotten in the way of various relationships of mine. Although tigers aren't as cuddly and friendly as other animals are, they are still amazing in their own way. They are strong enough to look after themselves and they are extremely patient as they wait for the right time to seize a moment.

I most fear the shark. I've never been a fan of big bodies of water as I don't like putting myself in a situation that will limit my ability of getting out of it. I've seen the way sharks hunt, they appear out of nowhere and chomp down on their prey with all of their force. I'm afraid of the unknown and with a shark, I'll never know where it's coming from. It could come from underneath me, behind me, from every side and every angle. Sharks are fast and carnivorous. I know that it's somewhat rare for a shark to attack a human, but who's to say you won't be that one in a million. There's nothing stopping a shark from attacking a weaker human being just floating in the water.

    Thanks
    Miranda

Re: What animal would you come back as?

    Hey there!

If I were to come back as an animal, it would definitely have to be an elephant. I think there are just so grand. They're just so calm, wise, and beautiful. Plus, their trunk is so powerful! I read that not only is it strong enough for it to push down trees, but it can lift almost 700,000 pounds! If that isn't convincing then I have no idea what is.

    Hasta luego,

    Heather :)
