    Do you like Pumpkin Flavor?

    Hey CNET,

With Fall right around the corner, everything will soon be Pumpkin. Pumpkin pies, Pumpkin Lattes, Pumpkin Spice, Pumpkin candles and scents are already out on the shelves.

I am not a fan of Pumpkin, I do not like the taste, and I do not like to carve them, but my daughter and my cousin are Pumpkin fanatics!!! They are counting down the days to get their Pumpkin Spice Lattes!!!

How about you do you like Pumpkin?

    Have a great Sunday!!

Re: Do you like Pumpkin Flavor?

    Hi Karen,

I like pumpkin well enough, but I definitely think the pumpkin craze has gone WAY overboard. I think about a week of pumpkin everything is enough to last me the whole year.

When I was a kid, my brother and I each got to pick a pumpkin to decorate for Halloween. We didn't carve them (neither of my parents are artistic, and I was too young for the knife), so we used either paint or marker to make faces or whatever we wanted on them. It was so much fun, and I always looked forward to pumpkins for that, then we just threw them away at the end of the season, so except for pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, I never tasted them until I got older.

    Thanks for the forum!

    Hi Karen!

It's funny how pumpkin season is earlier and earlier every year! I am a big pumpkin flavor fan, but I actually do not like pumpkin spice lattes. I love pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup, pumpkin muffins...but not pumpkin spice lattes. I currently live in North Carolina where the warmer months outnumber the cold months. It will be weird in a few weeks when the pumpkin everything starts coming out, but it's still 90 degrees outside. Fall doesn't feel like fall until it's brisk outside and the leaves start to change color.

I think it's something about pumpkin spice only being available for half the year that makes people want it so bad. That's good marketing, people!
