If you had to live in a different country...

    Hey guys!

If language boundaries weren't a problem, I would live in japan, hands down. The reason is because I greatly respect Japanese culture. I love how mindful they are of each other. I also admire their values. Health and honor are really important as they should be.

If you were forced to live in a different country, which country would you choose? Why? Would your answer change if language boundaries weren't a problem?

    Hi Erin,

I love the values in Japan too. One I learned about that makes me think it would be a nice place to live is how it's a group-oriented culture, as opposed to here in the US being individualistic. I think I'd really appreciate that aspect.

Thinking of the places I've visited, I'd pick Paris. I really loved the city and how beautiful it was. I loved all the parks scattered around the city and how nice it was to walk around and enjoy the sights. I think even if I lived there for quite some time I'd never tire of the buildings and scenery. It's also in a good location to take weekend trips to other areas of Europe! The language barrier would be my biggest issue as I am not as fluent in French as I used to be. That said, I'm not a huge fan of cities so even if I was fluent I'd probably tire of the hustle and bustle and move somewhere more rural. The metro would also be a problem! I did not like riding it at all, and I sure wouldn't want to drive in Paris! Just being a pedestrian was scary!

    Fun question, thanks for asking!

I'd live in Germany. I've already lived there a year and know the language and the culture really well!

    Haveva good one!

Hey there! If I had to live in a different country I would love to move to New Zealand or Australia. Although I've never been, those countries are so beautiful, at least from the pictures I've seen and anywhere I can be surrounded by ocean would be wonderful. If language was barrier however, I think it would be much more difficult to live there. I took a couple years of Spanish in high school but not enough to be able to live comfortably in a country where Spanish was the main language. I think it would be great to learn another language but if I was to have to quickly move to a different country it would have to be somewhere where I new the language!

    Hey guys!

    Thanks for the comments!

I have always wanted to visit Paris! I am so jealous! The city of love and fashion! I have never been out of the country! I am so restless. I can't wait to visit Europe.

I wish I knew another language! I don't know a lot about Germany! Maybe I will look into it and consider going there next!

I have considered studying abroad in New Zealand! I agree with you, it is such a beautiful place! At least what I have seen in pictures!

Thanks again for the comments you guys! I really appreciate it!
