    How do you watch TV?

    Happy Friday, CNet!

About a year ago my girlfriend and I got a Kodi Firestick. Since then all we've had to buy monthly is internet. We don't pay for cable because it has virtually anything we'd want to watch. I used to watch Netflix but I was always impatient for new seasons of shows and movies to come out.

I have Amazon prime and I've tried Hulu but I still like Kodi more, even with the random mishaps.

What do you use to watch television? Assuming you watch television at all...

    Have a good weekend!

Re: How do you watch TV?

    Hello MadHatcher.

My sister gets full control of the remote (yes I know I could actually stand my lazy butt up, and change what we watch) because I really do not care what I watch. I like the background noise.

Lately we have been watching, the 10 seasons (yes it took us 5 months) of Smallville Which is a little bit better of what I thought it would be when she first suggested we watch it. (I put it on a level of 1 to 10-- 1 being Simpsons. 9 being West Wing-- pretty much at a 5) I love West Wing but there has not been anything that fits a "10" in my head. West Wing gets me to think.

So now that we have seen all 10 seasons of Smallville, I would personally (my very own opinion) put it at a 7.

But to answer your question. I watch TV however way my sister wants me to watch it.

    Hey MadHatcher,

I pretty much exclusively watch Netflix for TV. We have an antenna for local free television, but there isn't a whole of going on there for it to be worth anything. We don't spend a whole lot of time at home watching TV so there isn't a huge need for it. Sure there are shows I wish I was caught up on, but I just don't watch enough tv to justify paying another $50 to have cable in our house.

    Have a great day!

Lately I have been watching a lot of Netflix. I have Amazon Prime TV, but I don't really use it. Every once in a while I will watch cable TV, but it always seems like it doesn't ever have anything I want to watch. I think Netflix is really great because when I find a show that has more than one season, I can watch episode after episode and season after season!

Re: How do you watch TV?

My family and I have very basic cable, so we get a good handful of channels. This is fine with me because I don't watch TV a lot, and if anything, I prefer watching the nature documentaries on PBS or perhaps watching a couple of other shows on TV, especially the news, but other than that, I don't watch a lot of TV. My sister, on the other hand, watches a lot more TV than I do. She watches shows like Big Brother, Candy Crush, and a couple of others, but what she can't watch on TV, she gets online to Netflix to watch them, like the Kardashians (ugh!), episodes of Shameless, Prison Break, and some other shows that she's interested in. She actually binged watched all of the episodes of Prison Break and caught up to the most recent Shameless episode, so that tells you how much she watches TV.

Re: How do you watch TV?

    Hey MadHatcher,

I watch the majority of my tv through Netflix and cable. On Netflix I've watched multiple shows like Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Office, Friday Night Lights, Shameless, American Horror Story, and I watch Family Guy too. (After listing all those, I feel like I watch way too much tv).

On cable I usually watch a lot of Impractical Jokers, it's probably my favorite show. The four guys are hilarious, and it always makes me laugh. I also watch The Walking Dead on cable, which comes on again soon and I'm very excited about that!

I think I need to relax with my tv watching....

Re: How do you watch TV?

for me, I pay for several streaming services over cable, and that ends up costing way less. For what I watch, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime have everything collectively. Netflix is $12 a month (I have the most premium subscription) Hulu is $10, and Amazon breaks down to $8.25 a month. Thats about $30 a month, as opposed to $60-$90 for cable. HUGE SAVINGS! That gives me all I need and I save so much money. Even if I added $10 YouTube Red, still cheaper!

Re: How do you watch TV?

    Hi MadHatcher,

I enjoy watching internet TV. I have Amazon Prime and a FireStick. I like them both (when I have time to watch of course. I also watch YouTube which I also really like when I have time.

    Take care!
