So Cnet, what type of toothbrush do you have? Is it electric, complex and has all the techie stuff? Or is it simply and straightforward stick with a brush on the end?

What type of tooth paste do you prefer?

Are you afraid of the dentist?

Have a lovely Sunday everyone! I went toothbrush shopping today and can't believe all the different types!

    Hey Mariah!

My dentist is my father in law, so yeah, I'm terrified of getting my teeth cleaned!

I'm all about the basic toothbrush, I feel that as long as you floss it probably doesn't really matter what kind of toothbrush you use. I've had dentists before suggest I use an electric one but I can't afford one of those.

No problems with my teeth yet!

    Hope you enjoyed your Sunday!

    Hey Mariah!

I use the old fashioned toothbrush. I tried an electronic toothbrush once before, and I didn't really like it. I like making sure I clean my own teeth. I like my bristles to be medium. I have some friends who like soft bristles but I can't brush my teeth with soft bristles! It feels like I'm not really cleaning my teeth at all! And the hard bristles are too rough because my tongue bleeds sometimes from cleaning my tongue lol. Or maybe I'm just brushing too hard...lol

When I was younger, before elementary school to early elementary, I used to never brush my teeth. Or not as often as I should have anyways. And I paid for that as I got older. One of my molar teeth is half filling I'm pretty sure from a huge cavity that I got treated too late.

I'm really big on dental hygiene ever since I got braces in the 6th grade. I was lucky to only have to have them on for a short 10-months. Unfortunately, a couple years ago my wisdom teeth started to surface and my jaw was too small for them, so it ended up crushing my lower teeth and now they're crooked. It's a long story, but that shouldn't have happened and I've gone through some pretty crappy dentist/orthos...it's a long story and I don't want to get into it, sigh. lol!

Anyways, hope you're having a good one :)

Re: What type of toothbrush do you use?

    Hello Mariah!

Currently, I use a plain old traditional toothbrush, which should be replaced soon because I have been using it for the past couple years. The bristles are almost completely flat and the tongue scraper is turning brown. Now that is just disgusting, so i am probably going to replace it by tonight!

I always wanted to own an electronic toothbrush, which pretty much does all the work for me. I have heard it can brush my teeth 100 times per minute, which I cannot say is the same as my traditional toothbrush (30-40 brushes per minute). Thus, the user have much cleaner teeth, while using the least bit effort to brush their teeth. Man, I am sorta envious of them because I am a very lazy person. Sometimes when I am especially lazy, I do only a quick 20-second brush, rinse, and be out of my way. As a result, I have developed several cavities every year! Man, I should purchase an electronic toothbrush because it is a good investment for my teeth!

Have a great day, and keep brushing those pearly whites twice a day!
