    Piano warmups!

(Excuse my little sister's unicorn notebook on my bookshelf. Lol.)
Here is a video of my demonstrating some of what I do to warm up.
In this video, I'm playing some of Claude Debussy's "Dr. Gradus ad Parnassum."
However, I'm also playing part of my original song "Cursatio Continuum." (That's the song you hear in A Minor.)
I was very nervous while recording this, that's why I pause a bit, and why I have to redo some parts toward the end, when it gets really fast and intricate.
Some of the audio got cut out, I'm not sure why.
    I'll post a video forum tomorrow, too! I think they're fun! :)
    Have a good evening!

    Hi Chloe,

I wasn't able to get your video to play which was such a bummer!! I don't know if others had trouble as well although it seems that ladyj may have been able to watch it.

I have always wanted to learn to play the piano and regret that I never did so....maybe some day...LOL!!

I think it is just magical to listen to someone play. Hope you enjoy it as much as it seems you' do!! Don't worry about being nervous I'm sure it was great!!

Thanks for the forum and have a good one!!

    Hi Chloe!

Rats!!!! I can't get your video to play and I so wanted to listen to you play the piano! I adore piano music and I am very impressed that you are composing and playing original pieces!

I grew up taking piano lessons, but quit once I graduated from high school. It's something I really regret. I can still read music and can play pieces that I loved as a kid, but i have lost so much of it over the years! My parents still have a piano, so I play around whenever I am home.

I hope you continue on with your piano studies and best wishes as you compose your pieces! Good for you!

Enjoy the rest of your day!
