    Early, on time, late?

    Good morning, CNET!

What time do you usually get to work or school? Are you early, late, or on time? Is it the same for personal plans?

    ---

I usually get to school at least 1 hour early. I get to work (precepting) 30 minutes early. Today I was "late" because I arrived on time, haha.

I usually run a little late for personal plans.

    What about you guys?

    Have a great day!

    Hi Dymphie,

I usually try to get to class on time, as I have gotten detention for that when I was in high school, bummer! I am quite often late for personal activities. I have no idea why. My mom gets on me about that all the time, but now that I am away at college, I don't have to hear her talk to me about it which is probably a good thing for both of us.

I am impressed that you get to school an hour early. That is prime sleep time for me at this point in my life, LOL!

    Have a great day!

    Hey!

Im usually always 30 minutes early or exactly on time. I have not been late anywhere in like 10 years. I get anxiety when i am late to places. I feel like everyone is looking at me and it’s never a good day when i am late.

    Thanks
    Have a nice day!

    Re: Early, on time, late?

    Good Morning,

I’m usually early to class, on time for work and late to personal plans. It’s awkward to arrive late to class, so I make sure to get there early enough to find a good seat. I don’t like waiting around for my shift to start, so I plan my morning to get to work right in time. When it comes to personal plans, I arrive late in purpose. I don’t want to be the first person there. I wait a while to make sure the food is ready to eat. Lol

    Have a wonderful day!

    Re: Early, on time, late?

    Dymphie,

I am normally about 1 hour or so early for school. Work I try to be 10-15 minutes early. And then personal plans I try to be right on time. I don't like showing up late to anything, so if I can I try to be early or at the latest on time. It just makes me feel better about the day and my plans if I am not stressing about being late to them and not having to rush.

    Thanks for the forum!

    Re: Early, on time, late?

    Hey Dymphie,

I am usually early for class and work! I hate the feeling of being rushed anywhere so I like to have ample time just in case I run into traffic or something! I am usually on time to personal plans unless it's a game night where I am okay with people a couple of minutes late! I don't like being the first person to a game night!

    Thanks! Have a good Wednesday!

    Re: Early, on time, late?

    Hi Dympie,

I'm always early for school, and I'm always the first student to be in class. I get to each of my classes with four minutes to spare, every day. I like the feeling of having some "me" time before I have to exert my focus onto whatever we're learning.
I try to arrive early to school club meetings on weekdays, but I often have to use the media center or meet with my teachers beforehand. (I frequently go for "extra help" even though I don't need it, I just like to review the material as much as possible.) Luckily, everyone understands. People usually don't show up early or on time, we're high schoolers, it's no big deal. We have things to do, places to go.
I've always showed up early for sports practices in the past. When I play sports this year, I will do the same, I believe it lets people know that I am focused and responsible.
Arriving early to anything, in general, implies that your priorities are in check and is thus impressive. :)

    Thanks for the forum!
    Have a great day. :)

    Re: Early, on time, late?

I am always late!!!!!! My family gets frustrated with me and I always say I'll do better but I can't seem to get ready on time. I've been that way since I was a kid!

    Hey!

There have been times when i am late but i try my best to be on time. I hate being late to places. It gives me bad luck throughout the day and i can’t concentrate.

    Thanks
    Have a great night!
