Your email inbox: 0 or 1000+

    Good afternoon, CNET!

Congrats to all the scholarship winners!

How many emails do you typically keep in your inbox? Do you try to keep it at a manageable number, or do you let the emails keep gathering?

I compulsively check my inboxes. I have email apps for my 2 personal Gmail accounts on my phone as well as my school email, and if the number is ever higher than 0, I read then delete the emails as soon as possible. At one time, I did have a crazy amount of emails, but I decided to change that, so I could stay more organized. I get a lot of time sensitive emails from school and work, so I really need to know what's in my inbox.

With the amounts of emails I get a day (including junk mail), I have to stay on top of it, or it will easily build. I remember when I returned from a trip abroad (3 weeks), I had to do some serious damage control over my hundreds of emails.

    What about you guys?

    Have a great day!

    Hey Dymphie!

I am just like you, I always check my inbox!

I don't ever go on to social media, so when I am on my phone, I am usually reading a book or checking my emails. A lot of important information is passed by email and I don't want to miss it! I can't understand how people never check their email and they let their mail accumulate!

It is like an OCD thing to see a number by my email icon! I must make sure it is checked and sorted out!

    Thanks for reading!

    Hey Dymphie,

I check my inbox constantly so I dont have an issue with "unread" emails but I do have an issue with "deleting" emails from my inbox. I always feel like I'm going to need to refer back to one for some reason or another.

I typically file my emails I a folder after they are read and that helps me to organize them better.

I always clean out my trash, and drafts, but just like my 8nbox I have an issue with letting go of emails I have sent.

    Thanks for the forum!

    Have a good one!

    Hi Dymphie,

Like Kathy, I do check my inbox constantly, but I don’t usually delete my mails just in case I need to read over their contents again. Therefore, I can say I currently have more than five hundreds email stocking up in my mailbox. I don’t have many issues with it though, since I already spend a good amount of time organizing my huge mailbox every time I check my mails (scan, read, read-later, etc). Also, I don’t want to stress over this issue because it can kill my daily productivity frequently.

    Thanks for reading,

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hola Dymphie,

Maybe when I'm extremely motivated to get rid of emails the red circle above my email emoji will no longer be there but for now It is over two-thousand I believe. I almost convinced I was born with over one-thousand unread emails because it has been like this for so long. I know I need to do better and I will!!!

So yup I have way too many!

    With love Shayla,
