    How stressed are you?

    Hey CNet!

How stressed have you been recently? DO you stress often? How do you fight the stress? Feel free to let your worries out! I am here to listen.

I was SO stressed the first week of May. It was finals week and graduation weekend. My tests were kicking my butt and my toxic job was overloading me with shift because I put my two weeks in. I also have an upcoming study abroad program that I had to sort out that weekend. I was so busy and I felt like I could never get ahead. I am just starting to recover from that week. My summer schedule is starting to sort itself out and my two weeks at my job are up.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel after all!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hey,

So on a scale of 0 - 10 I am 10000000% stressed right now. i am not doing so well in one of my classes and it's stressing me out a lot. I don't know what to do. I study so much but nothing is working.

    Thanks,
    Have a nice day!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hey Erin!

I will probably be the minority in this forum, but I am not really stressed. I finished school for the year and now I am just enjoying the spring and working at my new job. I think I do not stress out often; I just realize I have more to do and deal with it as best I can. However, when stuff just keeps piling up you feel like you have more of a burden on your shoulders.

Like you said, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! The summer is beginning, and although I will be busy with work, I look forward to some fun and relaxing times!

    Thanks for the forum!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hello Erin!

I'm currently at a pretty average level of stress, at least for me. I'm never not stressed, really, there's always something to do or to worry about. It's not as bad as finals (which was one of the worst weeks I've had in a long time) and I'm on summer vacation right now, but I'm worried about paying for school. I usually relax by just listening to music, Netflix, or reading, but I don't feel like I have the time to sit and chill right now. We'll just see how it goes, stuff usually has a way of working itself out, so hopefully this time is the same.

Thanks for listening, and I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hi Erin,

I feel an average of less stress. I think that is because I have gotten used to the amount of stress this school year has given me. I have push myself further this academic school year, both mentally and physically, that I have ever before! This is because I am concentrating both on my grades and also on things happening in my life, such as looking for an internship.

I think the biggest thing I have learned is to change the way she just occurs to me. Stress will occur when I am in school, so the goal should not be to try to have less stress, the goal is to turn and see stress as something that can help me move forward, be more productive, and think outside the box.

    Cheers!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hi Erin,

I have just enjoyed a short break visiting my families, so I have not been stressful at all (yay!). With that being said, however, just like you, I was also stressful the final week, busy studying for exams. It was not that bad, fortunately, because I did not have to cram due to good studying practice.

I was actually even more stressful on my way to the flight heading home, as I was really late. I arrived literally 30 minutes before boarding time (oh my god…), but fortunately the lines were short so I got to my gate on time eventually. Lesson learnt…

And of course, I’m glad that you finally can catch up with things. Hard work will pay off!

    Thanks for the forum,

    Have a wonderful day!

    Re: How stressed are you?

    Hey Erin,

As a nursing student in an accelerated program, I am pretty much always at a moderate level of stress. There is never really any "down" time, as I am either in lecture, at the hospitals doing clinicals, or studying for class. There is not really a lot of time to relax or even do social activities outside of study groups. Luckily, it's not forever!

    Great topic!
