    Messy or clean?

    Hey guys!

Are you a messy or a clean freak? Do you mind dirty areas or do you need organization?

I am a very clean person. My room is always clear and devoid of clutter. I share a bathroom with my slob brothers and it drives me crazy how disrespectful they are! I don't mind if someone else is mess, as long as they are respectful of my areas.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks!

    Re: Messy or clean?

    hey !

I believe I am in between...I try my best to avoid clutter as well...I ocassionally clean my room every week...I definitely cannnot stand having my stuff all over the floor.

I need to organize when I see clutter on the floor. But when I am just tired and feeeling lazy I will just chill for the remainder of the day.

I am currently looking for an organizer, particularly for paper. I have not found one yet that captures my attention, but as of now I use folders.

    Good night !

    Hey Erin!

I'd say I unfortunately lean towards the messy side. I don't mean to be cluttered and messy, I can just be absentminded sometimes. It's definitely something I try to be more conscious of. Living with roommates and in a 27 person Co-op in college really helped me to be more mindful and considerate of my housemates.

    Best,

    Abby

    Hey Erin,

I loved reading your response about the twin flame and meeting your soul mates! I love thinking about that stuff, how we are connected, what our connections with people mean, in some situations I think it helps me understand better when I am confused about the way I feel about someone :)

Anyways, I am pretty messy, I tend to leave a little trail behind me when I get home from work or school. I always respect shared spaces though, because I live with 2 other people, I clean up after myself quickly. I wish I was more like you when it came to my room though! I gets messy in a matter of days, just because I am always in a rush or can't decide what to wear, and don't have time to re-hang up all the "No's" and then I don't feel like hanging them up at night when I'm ready for bed.

I don't feel good about being messy, it's really tiresome at times actually, but I've been this way for many many years so it's going to take a lot of new habit setting to make cleanliness and organization really stick.

    Thanks for reading!

    Re: Messy or clean?

    Hello,

I am a clean freak. I can't stand seeing a mess. The only times my house is a mess is when I leave in the morning for work. I love having and smelling a clean house. It may be weird but when my house is clean, I feel clean.

    Re: Messy or clean?

    Hi there!

I would say that I'm definitely someone on the cleaner side, like I'll let things get dirty to a certain extent, but I like to keep things cleaner because it doesn't get dirtier. And sometimes things can get REALLY dirty and I don't want to clean them haha So I'm a moderate clean freak!

    Best,
    Vic

    Hey guys!

Thanks for commenting on my post!

    Romeo-
I also know it is time to clean when there is clutter on the floor. When the bathroom I share with my brothers starts to have a lot of clutter on the floor, I cannot help but clean it. There is nothing wrong with being messy, especially if you pick up occasionally.

    Abby-
Honestly, that is all that matters! If you are mindful of others. I really respect that.

    James-
    Happy medium!

    Jess-
I really enjoyed that topic!! You re an awesome writer :)
There is nothing wrong with being messy! I used to be messy. A way to get better it to just to make sure if you are going through your closet, you just immediately put back what you take out. I used to be bad at that. Just being conscious and doing a little at a time really helps!

    Jessica-
I am also a clean freak! It is something I have grown into being around my disgusting siblings. There is no better feeling then being in a clean environment! It clears my head!

    Vic-
I am also clean! I falter sometimes, but not for long! A clean environment lets me think straight!

Thanks again for the comments you guys! I really enjoyed reading them:)

    Re: Messy or clean?

Hey Erin! Growing up our house was always messy and when I lived by myself, I really didn't care one way or the other. Now that we have our own house, I always have it clean because I don't want to live like I used to! I cannot stand clutter or dirty houses anymore!

    Re: Messy or clean?

    Hello,

I am defenitly a clean person. I do not thrive in messy places. I enjoy keeping everything nice and tidy. I clean my apartment hotspots about twice a week. I especially hate a messy kitchen. The kitchen is the easiest place to get dirty. So I try to keep it clear . Keeping things clean is hard sometime , but it is defenitly worth it to feel pride in the space I live in !

    Re: Messy or clean?

    Hello cramergirl!

I like things pretty clean. To me, it's easier to locate things I need and makes me feel way more organized.

If I had a messy space, it would just give me anxiety and I feel like I'd be wasting time trying to locate things I need.

    Re: Messy or clean?

I would like to think I'm clean for the most part. I keep things organized and clean as I'm going along so I don't have to clean up big messes later. I don't mind people being messy as long as they're not invading into my personal space lol. This is also why I'm thankful that I don't dorm with another stranger lol x)

    Have a good one!
