    What keeps you going?

    Hey CNet!

We all face hardships. We all have obstacles to overcome and days to get through. Life is hard!!! What makes it worth it for you? What are the things that keep you going through each day, especially the hard ones?

For me it's my loved ones. I'm kind of at a point where I feel like I dislike doing most of what I do on a daily basis, but loved ones make it bearable.

    Thanks for reading!

    Hi Anna,

For me it is definitely my kids and husband. At the end of the day, no matter how hard it is or what life throws my way, they are all that really matter and are the motivation to get through whatever hard time I'm dealing with.

    Hey Anna!

My family keeps me going. I love them so much I don’t know what I will do without them. The older I get the more I appreciate them. It’s like I realize who really matter and who doesn’t. They have always been there and will always be there for me.

Friends come and go, but family will always be there for me. They are the ones I want to make proud of...no one else but them.

    Peace and love

    Re: What keeps you going?

I get through it by hanging on to the belief that everything that happens in my life happens for a reason and will lead to better things in my future. I know that life changes quickly, and it can change for good just as quickly as it can change for worse. I think back to all the times in my life when things went wrong but then a few months later were better than ever and wouldn't have happen if i hadn't have worked through the bad times. Life isn't all roses and cheerful occasions. We have to stay strong through thick and thin, and it will be alright in the end.

    Hi Anna,

For me, its my family, especially my mom. She is my main motivator. Whenever I feel like giving up, I just remember all the hardship she had to face to get me where I am now. I also just picture the proud smile she will have on my graduation day!

    Re: What keeps you going?

    Hey Anna,
For me it is definitely family. I am in school, working full-time and trying to balance caring for my two young daughters. It can be stressful at times but I want the very best for my babies and I want them to be proud of their mom so I keep pushing through!!

    Thanks,

    Re: What keeps you going?

Everyone's responses are so sweet and deep, and while I love my family, my first thought when I read your post was food! lol

Sometimes, I get through a tough day at work just day dreaming about the deliciousness I'm going to whip up when I get home or that cookie dough protein bar I've been saving for a rainy day. But of course, the thought of coming home to my partner also makes me happier :P

    Re: What keeps you going?

    Hi Anna,

Life is really hard, I've gotten really close to giving up many times and I have to say I am very glad I didn't because life is finally looking up. But when it wasn't, when everything was just falling apart the thing that always kept me going was music. I was never close with my family so they held no prominence in me staying strong, and I had no friends so I was alone with all the crap and no one that could possibly understand. Music was and is my true escape from the hard stuff, it speaks the words that I can only feel and makes me believe I'm not alone in this. Due to how much music means to me I'm going to college to learn how to make it and record it. My strength lies in music so why not make my strength my career?

Hi, my main motivation is my parents. Plus I am young and the young kind of think they are invincible, that we have all the time in the world, right?
