    McDonald's vs. Burger King

    Hey everyone,

So here's an easy one. or maybe not....who has better fries- McDonald's or Burger King?

This has been a long standing debate in my family and often leads to having to stop at both places to accommodate everyone's preferences.

I personally prefer McDonalds. How about you?

    Thanks.

    Hi Kathy,

I am sorry but McDonald's fries are definitely too salty for me. I prefer Burger Kings fries. When it comes to chicken nuggets however I really prefer McDonalds nuggets all the way.

    Have an awesome night!

I definitely prefer Burger King. It has more of the grilled taste in the burgers. They don’t seem as fake or generic. Granted I’ve probably ate 20x more McDonalds in my life, which may even account to it.

Hi, ha ha that is so funny because my family has done the same thing; but with us it is usually Taco Bell vs McDonalds. My dad likes McDonalds so we might get a meal there for him then go through Taco Bell for my mom and us kids or a combination. We also have done the same for Burger King and KFC. My mom is cool with it and has no problem going to a couple of places when they are close together.

    McD fries but...

am interested in trying those new Taco Bell fries. Anyone try them yet? Am I just easy prey for marketers?!

If you want fries- it's mcdonalds. I also like their fish fillet sandwich. I basically stop there exclusively when I travel.

    Re: McDonald's vs. Burger King

    Good Tuesday!!!

I'm not a big fan of either, but I would choose McDonalds over Burger King. For some reason every time I've eaten at The King I've had an upset stomach, so now I avoid at all cost, plus I like McDonals Fries, Big Mac's, and Apple Pies dipped into a Vanilla Shake.

    Thx!!!

    Re: McDonald's vs. Burger King

I think that McDonalds has better fries, but Burger King has better burgers haha SO I do the same thing, and if they're close go to both places! ;)

    Hey, great question!

Jessica, I totally agree with you. Luckily we have a shopping area where both places are only separated by Taco Bell. Lots of choices, hard to choose.

    Re: McDonald's vs. Burger King

    Hey everyone,

Thanks for responding. It's comforting to know that others need to make 2 stops also to accommodate everyone's needs.

Shanz- I can understand the issue with the salt on McDonald's fries. Sometimes I ask for no salt and that way I get fresh hot fries and I can add my own salt.

Le Penguin, Jsssica and iKasey- I agree the burgers are better at Burger King--flamed broiled, right?

kulanuikula- Taco fries sound really interesting...

Wames- very cool that Mom doesn't mind the multiple stops...LOL

fiveRoses- I've never had the fish sandwich....guess I should try it.

Thankful- I love the idea of apple pie and dipping it into a vanilla milkshake-quick short cut to pie a la mode.

    Thanks again everyone!!

I say Mcdonalds and tell them no salt on the fries and they will guarantee to make you fresh fries!

    Re: McDonald's vs. Burger King

    Tasty question,

McDonald fries are better hands down. Texturally they are superior. By having a more consistent and overall better crunch I think that they are definitely better. I generally like the salt levels, but if you don't it's not hard to remove salt. It's also worth noting that I find that McDonalds fries are more consistent while Burger King's tend to have more variation. Think Crisp fries for me please.
