If you could recommend one thing...

    Hey Cnet!!

What's your one recommendation/piece of advice that you like to share!

My go to recommendation is to use sunscreen. My mother has a history of skin care so it's obviously it's an integral part of my life to protect myself from the sun.

I also try to prevent skin damage and wrinkles on my face- so sunscreen is necessary!

    Have a great day!
    Lindsay :)

p.s. watch out for that sun!

    Hey!

My recommendation would be don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend if you are in college. Especially in nursing school. Everything is so much harder because you can't spend enough time together and it's hard to care and show love when you are all stressed from school.

    Have a great day!

"On the otherside of your maximum fear are all the best things in life."

I find this advice to be the best cause I used to live my life worrying all the time. I would freak out or choose not do something just cause I was afraid. I have now realized that fear is just a state of mind. Fear is real and there is a proper time to fear. Yet, being afraid of something that has not happened will not benefit you in anyway. I also find letting fear hold you back, deciding not go to college because you are worried you will fail for example would be one of the worst decisions to me.

Hope you have a great Friday!

    Hello ,

I would recommend to love yourself. You do not need a group of people around you to.affirm your worth. Even if you are alone you should know how awesome you are. Don't let media and other societal trend let you feel otherwise.

My recommendation would be to find your own sense of independence as soon as possible. I'm not saying to leave your family to live on your own, but just the little things like doing things by yourself without having to rely on help from others. For example if you're stuck with something, maybe try to find your own solution to it first and if it doesn't work out then seek for help, but don't just automatically seek for help or the easy way out because it might get into a habit of reliance (I'm at fault for this very much so T.T) I think going to work at a young age also brings a person new perspectives on life and the world around them, as well as helping them to learn the value of money and working to support oneself. And also I think you can find independence by learning simple life skills like doing the laundry or cooking for yourself. All of these skills I wished I had started a lot earlier in life ^^

Thanks for sharing! Have a good one!

Hey Lindsay! I’d recommend to exfoliate, remove all the yucky dead skin cells that’s just sitting on the surface of your skin. I like to exfoliate before I shave so it’s much easier to get smooth, soft skin.

    Hi Lindsay,

One piece of advice I would give to someone is to simply think for yourself. While growing up, I was very impressionable and because of this I allowed other people to do and say things for me even if it wasn't something I stood by. I've grown to learn that realizing the power of your own thoughts and ideas will get you so very far in life and you will be a lot more happy this way. Do not fall into the opinions of other and tag along to what's popular. What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right. Think for yourself!

Hope your weekend is starting off right!
