    Favorite Quote?

What is your favorite inspirational quote? Why? What do you read when you need a little bit of inspiration in your day?

One of my favorite quotes is by Earl Nightingale:

“Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.”

I love this because I have given up on plenty of things because I didn’t think I would be able to reach it. Either that or I didn’t want to put in the effort to accomplish something, whether that would be because of fear of failure, rejection, or “it’s too hard”.

Nowadays, I work hard to reach my long term and short term goals. Some days I struggle more than others, and that’s when I look towards friends, family, and my books for support. Sometimes looking at my past achievements motivates me to keep moving forward.

The time will pass anyway, so why not seize the opportunities before me and make myself into something great?

    Howdy allminesunshine,

Since I answered this question a little bit ago, I will put a recent quote that I found amazing!

“Anyone that suggests to me to do less is either not a real friend or very confused!” — Grant Cardone

I love this quote cause I have heard from so many people through my life to do less and work less, to put myself under less stress and to set my goals lower. I find this quote to be amazing since it goes against that. I want to work as hard as possible and achieve as much as I can. I don't want to put a limit on my own success. People who are going to try to set my goals lower are not worth my time. They are simply obstacles that I need to overcome.

    Thanks for reading!

    "Nothing worth having comes easy"
The things that actually put our all into getting are the things that will matter to us most at the end of our lifetime. Many wonder why those who are given fame without having to work for it usually end up having tragic downfalls. Ultimately it is because they are given the benefits and rewards of someone who worked extremely hard without doing the hard work, and instead of being wise and careful, end up being careless because they didn't have to work too hard to be where they are.

When you work hard for something you will value it way more than if you had just been given it. It is ok to be blessed and to receive blessings, but remember to stay focused, continue to work hard, be humble, and stay dedicated to your craft. Never take anything in life for granted, and remember that if something or someone comes way too easy, you may want to think heavily about whether it is really for you or if it isn't.

    Re: Favorite Quote?

    Good afternoon!

I think one of my favorite quotes is "Don't pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one." - Bruce Lee

I think to often people wish for an easier life, I know I have been that person on numerous occasions. But having an easy life doesn't show us what we are made of and it would never force us to grow. I don't know about anyone else but I would love to grow into a stronger person than I ever imagined I could be.

    Have a great day!

    Re: Favorite Quote?

One of my favorite quotes is " Life is 10 % of what happens to you and 90 % of how you handle it. " I think this is a good thought to live by because if you can handle all that life throws at you with grace and dignity you have not let the rough thing in life define you they only make you a better person.

    Re: Favorite Quote?

My favorite quote is "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear". It is by Thomas Jefferson and it means that everything should always be questioned and approached with an open mind. If God were real then He would rather we had reason behind our belief instead of just blindly following those in front of us.

I think this applies greatly to our lives today because we tend to just follow the party lines or the people we follow on social media. We don't make arguments for what we believe and we don't do any research, we just regurgitate taglines.

    Hey allminesunshine's!

I love this post. Im all about poetry and quotes!

    Some of my favorite posts are inspired by the late, great Mya Angelou;

"If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude."

This always deeply resonates with me. It reminds me that i'm not in control of like, but if I change my attitude perhaps I can not let circumstance control me.

What a great post and thing for us to think on tonight. Thanks for posting!
