Forum: Talking about our struggles in life
Hey Wanderer, thank you for sharing. That can't have been easy. I know a few friends with bipolar disease, and it is so tough to watch them go through the lows of life, and feeling helpless.

I struggle with chronic migraine, and when I get them, I get completely vulnerable and I shut down. Like today, I have to stay in bed, with darkness and silence and just wait it to pass. I never get use to the pain. I also suffer from anxiety, but only because of experiences in life, not born with it. I try to work with it as much as I can. The best thing I did, was to ask for help from friends, and family, and also a psychologist.

Hope you have a chill and wonderful Saturday!

Hey Renee! And welcome to Cnet, too sad about it closing down, but let's get you that Rookie award!

I loved Bohemian Rhapsody! I sat there with chills from start to finish, and it felt more like a documentary than a movie. Rami Malek did a superb job, but so did everyone else. It happifies me knowing that the band members from Queen and Freddie's family worked with the producers to make an authentic movie as possible.

Have a great weekend!

Hey Grace!

Yay for team Marvel! So excited about Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 as well!

I have long thick hair, and should go more often to trim it because it not only grows in length, but in volume, so I have to tame the mane every day for about 30-45 minutes. Now that I am a student, I can't afford going to the hair dresser, but when I worked full-time as a teacher, I'd go 3-4 times a year. Now I think it'll be once per year.

Happy Saturday!

Hey! I've been waiting for you to post, so I could reply. You made me laugh out loud with your Marvel excitement! Thank you for that!

I don't use Youtube that much, but I took a screenshot of your forum, and will check that out tonight! Thanks for inspiring me!

Forum: Free public transit?
Hey Kasey,
I don’t think public transport needs to be free exactly but it definitely needs to be way more affordable. I think our taxes could help subsidize a good transportation system. Now people will say but that would raise them. It really shouldn’t though because there should then be less cars on the roads and you will have less money going into road repair and as Kasey mentioned hopefully less car accidents.

Here in Hawaii we have the bus. It is not very reliable, I have spent an hour waiting for a bus that never showed. It is always late or early. It also takes FOREVER. My university requires us to buy a bus pass. I only take it a handful of times because it takes soo long due to all the stops. A year pass is $770. That is not cheap considering you can get a beat up car for 1k or 2k and that you don’t have to repay in a year. Granted you don’t have to pay for gas or maintenance. Still though that is expensive. My school offers us a discount and we pay $80 a semester. Honolulu has some of the worst traffic in the world and our public transport system is horrible. They are working on building a light rail but that has so many issues, I’m just not going to go there.

Mahalo,
