I love to give. It's a pretty nice feeling to watch people feel thankful of your contributions.

Receiving gifts is not a priority... Proof? The best gift I got this Christmas is a pair of dress pants. The second best gift? Money. The third best gift? There is no third best gift, lol.

Well... considering that I can't change my mom's views, I've been unknowingly bonding incredibly with my sister, lol.

Ha... I wish I could say how long it takes to do my hair... because I usually don't do so.

Get out of shower, dry my hair, and then go to school.

I only use gel on special occasions, and that takes me probably about two minutes at most.

Then again, I'm still young.

Hmm... I'll take a day off from my hiatus and make a post. =)

In the beginning of February (the month that I won the scholarship, back when the competitions were monthly instead of weekly), I posted a "Vote for me, and I'll vote for you back!" forum. Having a firsthand experience with disapprovals over these kinds of forums, I apologized on the second day and went on. Even with us people who complain about these forums, some users continue to post the "vote for a vote" forums.

I don't know Backstroke48 (simply because I have been lazy to not post much this semester), but he works hard on trying to win this scholarship. I would be interested to see exactly what he was banned for.

... That said. I love all of you.

Peace.

Forum: Phillies vs Yankees tonight
Subject: Re: Phillies vs Yankees tonight
To be honest, this is a hard matchup for me to choose.

I loved Brad Lidge when he was the closer for the Astros. Lights Out Lidge was a beast when he had his killer slider. Even though he's now a closer for the Phillies, I don't want to see Lidge blow a save.

Then again, I respect the Yankees' history. I mean, come on, the awesome Derek Jeter, the postseason beast in Andy Pettitte, the prowess of Mariano Rivera... I wouldn't want to see Rivera blow a save, either.

It's hard to believe, but I guess for each game, who I root for depends on who leads at the end of the game and if either closer is pitching.

Forum: Ghosts

I always have this assumption that things I haven't seen are sexy.

If I have, then my judgment either stays the same or ends up degrading my view of them.

Therefore, ghosts are pretty sexy right now.

However, I have a Hannah Montana wig (seriously, I've never looked better as a girl), and if pedophile ghosts who are Hannah Montana fans want to air rape me, I might have to reconsider that judgment.

By the way, basically all of the responses (besides my own) are from females.

Are there any guys on CNET that have experienced/are experiencing/will experience this problem? If so, how have you dealt with it? What would you have done in my situation?

Hmm, I'd find it hard to confront Mom about this situation because she might get mad at me for mentioning it. She's the kind of parent that doesn't like to be proven wrong, especially by her own son on parenting. The heck, she might yell at me.

I really hope Dorothy doesn't get frustrated so much that she'd go off to college and never want to come home. A reason why I come home every weekend is that I always find it hard to say good bye to my parents (especially during orientation week; it was pretty much the first time in my life that I would spend that long without them). I couldn't imagine myself thinking, "I'm so glad I'm going to college so that I wouldn't have to see my parents." It's way too early to say, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dorothy thinks of that. Then somehow, like in those typical shows or movies of kids wanting to run away or leave forever, the kid regrets that action.

Off topic, but eh.
