Did you all hear about the Prime Minister's visit to the U.S.? And how it is customary to exchange gifts on such an occasion? Well, the Prime Minister brought several meaningful and valued items to give to Obama. What he got in return was 25 CD's of classic movies!!! WHAT?! While gifts are meant to be the result of "thought that counts," what message is he sending to our greatest ally?! He had to know this would be seen as an incredible insult, as it was. I, for one, don't blame them! I would like to apologize for this incredibly rude gesture! Was he saying that all we have to offer is entertainment?! Because I assure you, that that is exactly what was conveyed. A major problem in America IS that all we produce is entertainment. Is Obama saying he does not see this as a problem? But as a reality he embraces? And can we really afford to insult our oldest ally in times like this?
