When I walk into my classes I am always overcome by a potpourri of
smells. Every single perfume, cologne or fragrance combined into a
noxious gas.
Do you think that the fumes of these fragrances are as bad as those of second-hand smoke? I read an article that spoke about the possible negative effects of such a high concentration of chemicals. I know they are real. A girl in my class always gets headaches from the fragrances.
If that is so, should schools ban the use of fragrances if they cause negative/adverse effects on students and that in turn makes a bad learning environment?
