I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
Now we've all had boring meetings before, but ever had one with a miscarriage?
A woman posted her ongoing miscarriage on Twitter, during a work meeting.
The article:
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,26304408-401,00.html

She was glad to have a miscarriage, so she wouldn't have to wait another 3 weeks to have an abortion.

This is the same person who has had 2 previous abortions and one other miscarriage.

It's people like this that really worry me. She has children, but just doesn't want any more.
But 2 abortions already? And wanting a third? It sort of sounds like she needs to stop getting pregnant...

I am with you 100%! If she doesn't want any more kids, then she should have a permanent way to stop her from getting pregnant.

Posting about your abortion or miscarriage online seems so immature. I really look down on people like her. Not only has she announced to the world that she doesn't mind killing her unborn children, she was actually happy about losing her child. It just makes me so sick. For those who can not have their own children are the ones who are suffering the most. They have to read about this woman who can kill child after child while they can't have any children of their own. I think it's sad and rude to post it online for the world to see.

I would say she definitely needs a good lecture on birth control methods. I don't understand how there are women that don't realize if they don't want to bring a child to this world they need to protect themselves. Total disappointment and disgrace!

She claims she was using birth control, but something happened anyway and it apparently didn't work.

It's really sad that there are people like this :(

I agree. She needs to stop getting pregnant if she is going to act this way. There are many ways to prevent pregnancy. There is birth control, condoms, she could get her tubes tied or the most effective one is to stop having sex.

Oh my god this is ridiculous. I can't believe people would see abortion and miscarriage as a birth control method.

There are plenty of ways to keep from getting pregnant if she doesn't want more children. Just go to a doctor lady. Abortion is not birth control.

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
OH I'm soooo angry as I read this. Seriously, have a tubal ligation, go on Depo, have an IUD placed or SOMETHING to PREVENT pregnancy from occuring. I have posted in the abortion forums before. So if you want to know my stance feel free to read there. However, as a married mother who would LOVE To have another child this disgusts me. My husabnd and I are having trouble with maintaining a pregnancy due to my hormone levels. We can get pregnant but unless I am given a specific amount of progesterone in at the right time and take it for the first 12 weeks my body won't sustain a pregnancy. Resulting in a miscarriage. For someone to be "GLAD" to have had one. ARE YOU SERIOUS? Do you know what that does to your body? Not to mention your emotions? If you didn't want the kid in the first place maybe you should have been more responsible to begin with. WOW is all I can say. Each day when my husband and I see people with too many kids (Octo-Mom, The Gosselins, random people with 4,5,6,7+ kids) I get upset. Maybe part of me is jealous is because we would like to have one more. Another part of me wants to know who in their right mind can justify having THAT many kids? There is NO way you can give the proper amount of attention to each one. NO WAY!
Back on track, my bad. This story is repulsing, but none the less real life. It happens and for this person to essentially blogging happily about it. SHAME ON YOU!

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
My mom is a nurse and she worked in labor and delivery. There was this one woman giving birth to her 13th child in there! All from different fathers and she doesn't even know the fathers much less who belongs to each one. My mom told her that while she is on all the painkillers now that they could very painlessly tie her tubes and the woman became outraged. She was screaming, "YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY BODY!!!!" Sad, that some people have children because they think it will keep the father around. Or they do it and use the child support money and aid from the state on designer clothes and pocketbooks. Meanwhile those children never see the money that should be used to pay rent. heating and grocery bills.

And yeah, abortion is not a form of birth control. There are so many alternatives. And they are safe and affordable. I just don't understand.

It`s all very disturbing.

I mean there are couples out there that can`t even have kids, and this woman is given the opportunity to have them and possibly give them to someone else but she rather just have a miscarriage or an abortion.

Who in their right mind would be happy about having a miscarriage, I don`t care if you don`t won`t the baby or not.

That says it all.

She`s gone. She has completely lost it.

It`s just...... disturbing.

Really though... If she doesn't want kids then maybe she should go get her tubes tied instead of killing so many of her unborn kids.

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
This reminds me of the South Park episodes a few weeks back titled "W.T.F" where the kids mimicked pro wrestling drama, and one of them was a girl who was _addicted to getting abortions_.

On a serious note, yeah, it's screwed up that people that know they don't want more kids can't just stay on some birth control!

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
I guess I'm just on too different a frequency to relate with this type of thought process.

Maybe I'm too much of a romantic. I just have a very idealized version of what life is going to be like with my significant other and the way I plan on sharing a child with that person. This is why I don’t see myself getting a bunch of girls pregnant.

I have urges like anyone else. I dunno. I guess I'm too much of a romantic to be so reckless with sex or to view the consequences of it in such a fashion. It just seems so off kilter with my way of thinking it’s hard to even establish a connection with how she could feel that way about what happened and has been reoccurring.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that as a romantic I can’t seem to relate with willingly putting yourself in this situation repeatedly. I’d also have thought that having an unplanned pregnancy would scare the crap out of you enough to be at least a little more careful.

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
That's disgusting. If her birth control isn't working...she needs to find another one. And sue her OBGYN while she's at it, because they're clearly not helping.

Luringattraction-13 different kids, from 13 different guys? That's also disgusting. How the court lets someone get away with that beyond me. It's cases like that that contribute to our crappy welfare system. People used to have kids so they would just get the welfare...well, at least in CT, the state caught onto this, so now there are guidelines, like you can't have another child within a certain amount of time of your last child I think. And with every child you have, you get less money. Seems @$$ backwards to me, but the state had to do it to combat the people scamming the system...but because of that there are tons of people who actually need the help, who can't seem to get it.

My goodness, this is very upsetting. Great post though.

Re: I'M GLAD TO HAVE A MISCARRIAGE!
i dont know how to respond to this......if you really dont want to have kids why not just go and get your tubes tied???? Why keep putting your self at risk to get pregnant then decide you dont want it and pray for a miscarriage.....and then of all things you get on twitter to tweet about it...as if everyone will be happy for her???

Wow is all I can come up with. This is very disturbing indeed. I know that there are woman all over the U.S. who are desparate to have a baby. People like this person make me very sad.
