Channeling your inner photographer
With digital cameras becoming extremely common, it seems like everyone is able to channel their inner photographer. Personally, I think it is fantastic! Just about any point & shoot camera gives you amazing quality pictures at an affordable price. I wanted to share some of the pictures that I've taken around DC and FL:

I have a Canon PowerShot SD790 (I really miss my 770, someone stole it) and love the quality for the price. One day, after I graduate, I plan on getting an SLR and learning more about photography. What type of camera do you use right now?

I usually buy Canon or Nikon cameras. They are extremely reliable and have great quality. Do you have a favorite brand camera?

First of all, i love your pictures Tflas!! =D Ever since i got a digital camera for my birthday, i took ALOT of pictures! I wished i took photography classes but i took the Art(studio) path instead. Tflas, rather than putting objects right in the middle, you should try putting some in a golden section(in the corner basiclly), and keep it up using angles!! Angles are your best friends by the way!! =D
The camera i got is the Nikon coolpix s7c and my parents got it for my birthday like 2 years ago for $250. I never knew but its considered as one of the best and now, a new one costs around $450. I LOVE my camera, the only problem is, i got a 2 inch scratch on the screen and i dont know how it got there...=(

Thanks! I have never taken a photography class but plan on doing so once I finish this program and have time. I'll try working with angles a bit, I usually just take pictures for family & friends that want to see the leaves change, pretty flowers, or what I've been up to in DC.

Oh no, a scratch on the LCD screen? at least it's the lens! An Art studio class sounds fun as well.

I love it that digital cameras allow us to take a million pictures and even if they're bad, you haven't wasted a lot of money on film and developing.
