Well, the holiday season is upon us. I know that there are a lot of
hoildays that are not celebrated by the common culture in the US, but
there are also different ways to celbrate some of the typical ones that
people don't think of.
I was wondering if anyone out there celebrates holidays in a slighly different manner than the status quo.
For example, on Halloween day, instead of going to parties (i did that the night before), I spent the day with my grandmother. She passed away at the beginning of the year, and I thought that a day of the dead would be the perfect opportunity to visit her old house, look through some photos, clean up her grave site, etc.
Halloween isn't the only holiday to which different methods can be used. Let me know what it is you do.
