What they should change at schools
What do you think they should change in your school? Tarty system, dress code policy, etc. Give me your insight. I honestly think at my school, we should be able to receive some sort of out of school lunch pass so we can actually go out to eat than eat at the cafeteria.

Re: What they should change at schools
I wish they would change our unnecessary dress code and our lunch menu. At my school the teachers focus more on the dress code than what the students are being taught. They even take it as far as the girls not being able to wear more that 2 bracelets on one arm. Seriously what does that have anything to do with learning. Yes, we should learn early how to follow a dress code due to later career dress codes but why over do it. Lunch is another thing. They took out the soda and snack machines supposedly due to the health of the students but the terrible lunch they give us will kill us faster. Luckily this is my last year but hopefully the school system will improve for the other students behind me.

I agree with both of you. I think that upperclassmen should have the privilege to go off campus for lunch. My school used to do that, but stopped two years ago because there were too many accidents. If the lunch was ten minutes longer, I think people would be able to go grab some food and come back safely.

I also think some dress code rules are stupid. I understand that clothing needs to be appropriate, but when it is 115 degrees outside, girls should be allowed to wear tank tops without worrying about being dress coded.

I also think that school should start later. If the start time of class was at 8 or 8:30, I would be more awake. It is hard to be ready to learn at 7:15 in the morning.

Schools spend too much time trying to get students to pay attention and actually come to school. Schools should pay more attention to those that want to learn and participate.

YLbaby000, actually during my senior year of high school, we did get the privilege to go out of campus and grab some food at near by stores and fast food restaruants. However, the only ones that gets the opportunity to go are the ones with good attendace and passed the Exit Exam(CA); which I think is a fair deal.

In my high school years, there was just this stupid and unnecessary rule: we can not wear all pink(shirt and pant) because it's a lighter color of red. It's pretty ridiculus, but a month later they careless about it.

I do agree the fact that schools pays more attention to dress codes and rules than teaching students.
