Hello! My name is Michelle. I am a 30 year old mother, wife and Nursing Student. Over the last 11 years, I have been working towards my RN. I have had to take several breaks in my educational goals in order to care for and support my family and loved ones. After a very intense and highly competitive application process, I have been accepted into a Nursing program! I am so very excited to have this opportunity.
I have a wonderful husband and together we have the most amazing 11 year old son. He is very active in school and sports. We just had a parent/teacher conference and he has been placed in AP math & science as a 6th grader!! I'm so proud and impressed! This summer we gained custody of our 1 year old niece. She is such a joy and we are so happy that we were able to take her and give her the love, care and attention she deserves. We are hoping to be able to finalize the process and legally adopt her this next summer.
I am so very excited to be able to return to school and achieve my goals. With the help of scholarhsips I will be able to focus on my education without having to worry about how I'm going to afford school and raise my family! I am the primary provider for our home and every little bit helps.
