Great topic! I feel like this is something that tons of people can relate to. I'd say there were several things that made me grow up and take thing seriously much earlier than necessary. First off, becoming an older sibling def. opens your eyes to being responsible. I became an older sibling at 4. Divorce between my parents at 10 was a huge deal. I was the oldest of two siblings with a single mother who was in school and working. I had to grow up quickly to help as much as I was needed. Lastly, I was found to have scoliosis in the 3rd grade...very early for most people. I had to become aware of my body more, and had visits to the doctors regularly to try and stop the progression. It kept going, through 2 back braces, so I needed surgery. At this time I realized how fragile life was..at the early age of 12.

Playing With Danger

So....I know everyone in their own way has some sort of thrill with the idea of something very dangerous. Its fun to desire to do something that could potentially end in injury or death, but most of the time doesn't...just playing with that adrenaline! I know several people that just really want to go sky dive, or scuba dive...etc. whats your danger fun? :D I personally used to like to drive a little bit too fast :s....it just felt so exciting! I think i'm over that though hehehe....now I just want to play with fire! :D (fire hoops/fan/poi)

takennokaiten is so right...find someone with a puppy....it always helps to see a cute puppy! awwww!! personally I give myself stretch sessions, hula hoop, bubble baths with candles and incense, a good movie, sweet snacks, flickr flipping, paint, take a walk....pretty much anything that makes me feel warm and fuzzy!

bahahaha....i like a bunch of names...and they represent me at different times and places in my life :) thank you guys again! :D loveashleyanne...i taught myself via tutorials on youtube....but a lot of places there are classes...i haven't taken one, but I was trying to start one up here in gainesville...but i couldn't get enough interest for it :( how the heck not right? lol i guess people just feel silly trying to learn to hula hoop...but i think its fun!

Ahh...thanks everyone sooo much! You have no idea how much it means to me! I've been hooping just at a year now, and spent hours and hours and hours practicing. I'd love to be able to have experience so that I can join a group that does performances for events! :D and yes....fire is next! I've got to get an extra 200 for that hoop though :)

mountain climbing....bah! I went rock climbing for the first time today. It was fantastic. Today has been the first day in a long time that felt all good.....almost perfect. Perfect weather...good company, keeping busy with fun things. Its been nice. Finally. Much needed. I like doing fun random impulsive things like climbing to the tops of buildings. Finding roof tops. Eating delicious meals I make up on the spot....biking to places I've never been. Its all good :) <3 live. you only live once. :D

bahh...gotta get clothes out of the dryer in about half an hour...then work after that....need.....to...make....money! bills coming up, only 300 left to pay back borrowed! butt 700 for summer school ahhhH! how am I going to come up with that so quick!? doughnuts for breakfast was a bad idea. ew. I feel gross. salad for lunch makes up? idk....but i have saturday off! (unless someone calls me in :D) NEED MORE ENERGY! I don't know if its just my diet, or if i've been slacking on my exercise, maybe both...someone be my exercise partner! been doing dance fitness though, thats fun. and teaching friends to hula hoop! Been making a lot of new friends lately...finally! I want to play tennis soon. and go to the beach...and maybe the springs whoo summer! until summer b classes :/ oh and my electric forest hoop troupe video better get done tonight! I am posting it to youtube and everyone had better go like it so I can make it in! :D Thats all for now :)
